• The minimum eligibility that a candidate should have for a PhD is a master's degree in the relevant subject.

Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be qualified with one of the following:

• Master's degree in relevant subjects with first class or minimum 60% marks ( CGPA 6.5 on a 10 - point scale).

                                                                                                   OR

• Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Business Administration with a first-class or a minimum 60% marks ( CGPA 6.5 on a 10 - point scale) or equivalent like M.Sc(Engineering)/M.S. by Research.

                                                                                                   OR

• Masters degree with a minimum of 60% in Sciences/Masters degree with a minimum of 55% in Humanities/Social Sciences/Languages.

Admissions for the PhD programs are offered on the basis of the entrance test and interview conducted by the Department Research Committee of the college.

• Candidates can find the application form on the official website of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education(Deemed to be University).
• The candidates have to fill the basic registration form which contains information such as name, SSLC certificate number, date of birth, gender, valid mobile number, valid email id, Nationality, and Aadhar Number.
• Login with details sent to your registered email id or mobile number. Fill in all the required relevant details.
• Next, candidates have to upload photographs and signatures.
• Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 600(Online mode) and Rs 650(DD Mode).
• Download the online payment receipt.
