CCSU M.Phil Eligibility Criteria

CCS University offers a variety of specializations, so students can elect their subjects according to their interest and the eligibility mandate they meet:

CCSU M.Phil Selection Process

  • Candidates are offered admission to various courses based on their merit score in the qualifying exam. And also after cumulating the eligibility criteria and reservation if it is applicable.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test and weightages (details mentioned below).
  • The result of entrance test will be uploaded on the university website www.ccsuniversity.ac.in.

Extra Weightage are given to following categories:

I. 4 %: Candidate having participation certificate at National/ State/ Inter University level in a team/ Individual event. Recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or the Indian Olympic Association (IOA)

II. 4 %: CCS University graduates, in case of admission to postgraduate program.

III. 2% : Candidates having Honours Degree in the subject in which the admission is being sought at post-graduate level.

IV. 4%: To the son(s)/daughter(s)/spouse of the employee of Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut and its affiliated colleges.

V. 3%: Candidates who have secured C/G–II certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

VI. 2%: Candidates, who have secured B/G–I certificate of N.C.C., while pursuing the qualifying degree/class.

VII. 3%: Students who have served for 240 hours under N.S.S. and participated in two camps of seven and ten days

Note:  To claim weightage candidate must enclose relevant documents to support his/her claim. These have to be uploaded at the time of filling or submitting the application form. No one is entitled to receive more than eight marks (percent) as a weightage.

How to Fill CCS University M.Phil Application Form:

  • Visit admission.ccsuweb.in
  • You will find a Registration. Click on the link you will be directed to the registration page or if you already registered you can straight away click on Applicant Login Tab.
  • Login Using your User Id and Password.
  • Select the course for which students seek admission.
  • Carefully fill out the application form by providing all the mandatory details.
  • Upload all the required documents.
  • Pay the required application fees.
  • Submit the application form to complete the application process.
  • Keep the printout of the application form for future use.

CCSU M.Phil Reservation Criteria

  • The seats reservations for SC/ST/OBC applicants are 21%, 2% & 27% simultaneously
  • Physically handicapped candidates avail 3% reservation. But, 2% seats are reserved for Dependents of Freedom Fighters. Dependent of Ex-servicemen applicants get 1% reservation of seats.
  • The reservation of seats is being available as per govt. rules & regulations and there may be some modifications made according to the situations
  • Enclose supporting certificates in specified Performa along with the form to claim reservation. Candidates must self-attest them before submission.

Ques. What is the total intake of students for the M.Phil course at Chaudhary Charan Singh University?

Ans. M.Phil program at Chaudhary Charan Singh University is offered in 16 specializations. 5-10 seats in every specialization is offered on the basis of merits obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

Ques. How do I get a degree certificate from CCS?

Ans. Earlier, after the completion of Graduation or post-graduation course candidates were given a degree after one year of completion through campus. Candidates have to visit the CCS university campus, Meerut and fill the form to get the degree and submit it on the counter. But to make the system more student-friendly, the authorities of CCSU have decided to send the degree certificates to the college from which candidates are pursuing their education.
