IIT Kanpur MDes admission 2024 are based on CEED Exam score. CEED 2024 admit card has been released and the exam will be conducted on January 21, 2024. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or architecture from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent are eligble for admission to the program. IIT Kanpur MDes Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or architecture from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.
• Valid scores secured in CEED 2024 exam are required in order to be eligible for admission.
• There are no restrictions on the candidate's age or the number of CEED attempts.

IIT Kanpur selects candidates for admission on the basis of written test and PI round conducted by the institute itself. On completion of the application process, IIT Kanpur shortlists candidates for written test and PI round on the basis of marks scored in GATE or CEED exam. Those who qualify the IIT Kanpur MDes cutoff are shortlisted for the written test or PI round.

IIT Kanpur MDes CEED Exam Pattern 2024

The examination will consist of two parts, Part-A and Part-B. Candidates must attempt questions from both the parts. Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. Part-B answer books will be evaluated manually ONLY for those candidates who are shortlisted from Part-A. The final CEED score will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to marks obtained in Part-A and 75% weightage to marks obtained in Part-B, after the above calculation.
