Monad University BA Admission 2023 is open now. Admission to the BA program is purely based on academic merit of the candidate. Interested candidates may apply through the official website.

Monad University offers B.A. in 5 different specializations – English, Philosophy, Political Science, Education and Economics. This is a 3 year (6 semester) course. At Monad University B.A. is also available in Journalism and Mass Communication, however that is a specialized degree. Monad University, BA: Eligibility Criteria

The candidate needs to have scored at least 45% (40% if SC/ST) aggregate marks in 10+2. Final selection is done through a face-to-face interview. In case of meritorious students however, it can also be direct.

Offline Application

• To apply offline, go to the address: Central Admission Cell, Monad University, Block-C, Ground Floor.
• Pay 6000/- to receive the admission form.
• Submit it there after filling it up.

Online Application

• You will find the online admission form at http://www.monad.edu.in/admission
• First, you'll be asked to register (create an account) on the university site.
• Enter your correct details under the 'New User' column and lick on 'Generate OTP'.
• Enter the OTP you've received on your mobile and click on 'Create an account'.
• Now your account has been created.
• Enter your e-mail and the password you chose under the 'Existing User' column and access the online application form.
• Pay through RTGS/NEFT to the account-

• Provide the UTR number of this transaction when filling the form.
• Submit the application form and take out its print out as your proof.

Through Demand Draft

• Download the admission form at: http://monad.edu.in/img/media/downloads/admission_form.pdf
• Take a print out of this form and fill it completely.
• Enclose a demand draft in favour of ‘Monad University’ payable at ‘HAPUR’ with the filled admission form.
• Mail this envelope to this address: Central Admission Cell, Monad University, Block-C, Ground Floor.

After your application has been accepted, you must bring originals/photocopies of the following documents when visiting the college to confirm admission:

1. Birth certificate
2. Certificate and marksheets of class X & XII
3. Permanent Residence Proof
4. Migration Certificate
5. Character Certificate
6. Original caste certificate which is visible on the website of revenue www.bor.up.nic.in
7. Income certificate in original which is visible on the website of revenue www.bor.up.nic.in
8. Seven passport size colour photographs
9. Medical Fitness Certificate
10. Gap Certificate (if gap after passing XII is present)
11. Two self-addressed envelopes, with stamps of Rs. 25 each

Department of Philosophy: The Department of Philosophy goal is to empower students in all disciplines with the development of vital, interpretive, logical and expansive skills necessary to personal intellectual and moral development, cultural literacy and achievement in the complexities of life. The subject surrounds on what a human being is, what is purposeful and meaningful for him.

Department of Economics: This is a leading research-intensive department, there are many opportunities for the students to interact and work with faculty members and graduate students in a wide range of fields.

Department of English: The strength of the department lies in its offering of various types of programs in English. Apart from English literature, the Remedial English/Qualifying English, Legal English, Business English, English Language & Communication courses, are also offered. Students are equipped with the skills they will need to pass competitive English examinations.

Department of Education: The department aims to facilitate studies in all emerging areas of education such as educational content and pedagogy, management, planning and finance education. It follows Education Technology inclusive education, distance education, e-learning etc. to prepare educators who are well versed with the skill and competencies of effective and efficient teaching skills and research.

Department of Political Science:

 This department devotes itself to the study of power in its myriad forms, including the powers of the state (legislative, executive, judicial, military and bureaucratic) and the powers of civil society (social movements, interest groups, and political and civic engagement).

 It also includes studying systems of political power, economic power, and ideological power, such as - democracy, dictatorship, pluralism, corporatism, capitalism, socialism, patriarchy, and imperialism, and so on. Sub fields include American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Policy and Public Administration, and Political Theory.

Monad University, BA: Placement

There is a Placement Cell at the college which organizes activities and workshops at a regular basis to enable students to be effective team leaders and players. Placement drives are arranged with the firms present at the institute. First year students are provided internships on an initial basis. Final year students take placement exams before they get to be interviewed by the corporates visiting the college.

Some of the major corporates that B.A students from Monad University find placement in are Airtel, BHEL, TATA, SAIL, Maruti, IndianOil, Dabur, BioCon, HCL, Fortis, Bhushan Steels Limited, Mother Dairy, etc. Placements begin from around 3 LPA and maximum placements go up to 9-10 LPA.
