Important Dates NEET 2021

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a five-year undergraduate program that equips students with advanced knowledge of dental science.

Founded in 1996, Sharda Group of Institutions is the largest educational based group in Uttar Pradesh.

The BDS course provides insights into the classification of different surgical procedures using medical techniques. The curriculum includes subjects like Pedodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dental Materials, Dental Anatomy, Oral Histology, and Community Dentistry. 

Candidates with valid marks in 10+2 can apply for the course. The selection will be based on NEET-UG. 

Sharda University BDS Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidate should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects
• The candidate should have qualified for the NEET exam. 
• The minimum age to apply at Sharda University for BDS is 17 years
• The maximum age to apply to Sharda University for BDS is 30 years.

Sharda University BDS Admission Guidelines

Admissions to BDS courses are entrance-based. 

The candidate should have scored at least 50% in their NEET Exam. Students belonging to reservation categories have to score at least 40% in their NEET exam.

• Upload the NEET scorecard.
• Remit the application fees via Demand Draft or Credit Card/Debit Card. The DD must be drawn in favor of “Sharda University with the following details:

Sharda University BDS Placements 

The university doesn’t offer any placement program for BDS courses. However, an internship after the completion of BDS is mandatory. The stipend for the interns is usually around INR 3300/- per month.
