What students say about REVA University

Likes

  • Our course curriculum is updated according to the situation and altered in the best way so that it can be helpful for both the students and the university to maintain its standards.
  • Our college does provide internships, although I have never asked for one from the college. However, some of the seniors have done so, and their experience with it is very good.
  • In our college, placements are very good as almost 150 companies come every year to pick the best students for their companies.
  • Our college does not provide any scholarships for students through Karnataka CET, but they do offer financial assistance to students who have joined through the management quota. Additionally, they also sponsor some of the best projects.
  • I can say that the college has one of the best campuses you will find in Bangalore. It has awesome infrastructure, and the library is fully-fledged with books. It also provides sports and supports sports.
  • Hostel life is one of the best experiences that any student gets in his or her college life.
  • One of the best colleges to study Engineering, and according to me, I would suggest anybody to join here without thinking twice because they get the best of the best here.

Dislike

  • Dont even talk about research; the teachers are unable to teach whats in the textbook.
  • Placements were very poor in my college, even now, especially for mechanical students and all other branches except for computer science. It is not bad for computer science students. Our college doesnt offer any internships to anyone, so dont hope for one.
  • We especially suffer from the lack of good scholarships and loan facilities in the colleges. The scholarship given in our college is the very least available, which is very bad. The scholarship for graduation students should be at least 10000, but we are not providing it. This is so sad.
  • Wifi is very slow in our hostel, and the power connection is available for 24 hours, but it frequently goes on and off. The meals are average, and the hostels are not affordable. There is poor maintenance and no feedback system. Additionally, the registration process is also very difficult.
  • My conclusion about the college is that it is the worst, especially in terms of management. They lack cooperation, they are dishonest, and they themselves are unsure of how to handle or resolve any issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes, they are good like they help us for getting placements. They have done more PhDs. Choosing Reva college is best in my way. The CDC people and other staff are where friendly to the students. The better course is to take CS&IT compared to CSE.

Remarks:

Yes, I have written the entrance exam in which I got a 20% concession. So better to have an entrance exam. So I use to get concessions. If you are from Karnataka the fee will be less when compared to the other states.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course based on my interest. As I was interested in computers and their working I chose this course. The faculty is very good in my college. We have sufficient faculty required for the classes. The faculty is well-qualified with PGs and most are qualified scholars. The teaching method is very good according to me.

Remarks:

I got into this college from CET. The Common Entrance exam for admission to UG in Karnataka. After I got the confirmation of the Allotment to college, we paid the prescribed fee and I joined the college. The admission process was easy and we had to fill out some Applications and submit the required documents.

Placement Experience:

The college gives every opportunity and training to the student so that he or she is placement ready and the college faculties help a student or the placement trainers helps students outside the campus as well but most of the student who is eager for placement gets placed in a company with a good package.

Remarks:

There is an entrance exam for the state through which they can join this college and the college has its own entrance exam which is called Reva-cet which has a different fee structure than compared to the normal state entrance exams.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem/7th sem we are eligible for the placements and we are given placement training from the 6th sem onwards. I can't really say the companies visited as now I am given training and need to still appear for the interviews, as of what I have seen or heard highest package is about 41 LPA and some 600 offers. As per the college, the percentage of placement is about 100% of the eligible students. My plan is to get placed in a good product-based company.

Remarks:

Admission process was really easy and fast and it was all done online,we can be eligible to this course in three ways one is through KCET,another is through COMEDK , and the last way is through MANAGEMENT QUOTA of course which costs a lot and is the easiest way in. The application form was provided in the collages website and it is available in college too no worries.

Placement Experience:

Students were eligible for the campus from the 5th semester. There was a huge number of placements done this year. As ours. the college gained popularity with many companies like cognizant, Capgemini, L&T, LG, HP, Wipro, Mindtree and many more.Conducted placements and selected eligible students. Our college placement percentage was 90% this year. It was the highest. percentage we achieved to date. I've already been placed and am working as a full-time employee in Cognizant solutions Pvt ltd.

Remarks:

The admission process was very smooth. The eligible criteria were to get 60% or above in the 12th exam. The application and fee structure will be provided in the Admin block. Reservation benefits are not availed for degree students, but you can still apply for a scholarship which will be guided by the University. As I said the admission process goes in a smooth and easy way. The good education system and infrastructure. Go for it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited & no offers were made are Amazon, Infosys, etc and the highest package was 58lpa. Average package is around 6lpa. 100% placement in cse.

Remarks:

I have studied here for 4 years the crowd is just like in Delhi because the campus is small(Now they building new blocks). But in a branch you can find a minimum of 3 branches, I think they have extended it to 5 now in every branch. Each section has a minimum of 150 students so just think of unemployed graduates who will be producing from Reva and even other colleges. The faculty will be good and even the management is nice and help you in moments. But you will hardly find time for that because most of the time you will be held up in classes if not in the canteen. You can see many graduates as faculty because if you do Mtech from Reva and have a good score you are hired.
