What students say about The Northcap University - [NCU]

Likes

  • The teachers designing the curriculum are the best of the best from the college so that the students can get the finest exposure to market offerings.
  • Our college is awesome. They sent our parents our report of attendance and the sessional marks as well, and they also conducted class tests so we can grow.
  • The placement record in our college is very good, with more than 90% of students successfully placed. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Dell, etc.
  • Scholarships are provided to students on the basis of JEE marks, semester-wise performances, and fee waivers are provided to excellent students. If you are not clear about the loan facilities, you have to ask the college authorities.
  • The gender ratio is very good in my class. We have around 40 students, of which 15+ are females.
  • I am not a hostel student, but my friends say that the hostel facilities are good.
  • All in all, I can say that The North Cap University is a great college for students from Delhi-NCR.

Dislike

  • The course curriculum is very poor, and exams are as usual as those from other colleges.
  • It doesnt help its students in getting an internship in any year or semester, nor does it offer any stipend.
  • Initially, the placement drive cell will claim that they help students to grow and achieve their goals. However, they are actually the worst placement cell you will find in any college.
  • Which is not good because other colleges will only take that fee for the whole course that they take at the time of admission.
  • The only bad thing that I found is that phones are not allowed on campus, only in the cafeteria, with a penalty of 500 as a fine.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in the 7th semester for BTech students. Many companies such as Deloitte, NCR, fidelity, Gemini solutions, amazon, uhg visit the campus. An ample amount of offers is made to each and every student. The highest package was 20L per annum offered by Amazon. Almost 95% of students get placed within 3-4 months.

Remarks:

Eligibility criteria are having a valid jee score. Application forms can be found on the University website which cost about rs.2000 and starts around the month of May- june. Other than the above some other verification of documents is done physically at the university offline.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester, students will start getting opportunities for placements. Students need to have a decent CGPA for getting a good placement. The average and the usual package is about Rs.600,000/year. I plan to pursue MBA after taking my degree, I will go for a one-year job experience to improve my CV and eligibility to pursue MBA.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course- Selected Field: BBA(bachelor of business administration), Required Percentage - 50%, 10th, and 12th Class certificate. Application forms, Dates, and Fees can be found on the official site of The north cap University in the admission category. https://www.ncuindia.edu/ is the college website, I did not choose to get reservation benefits. The admission process was smooth and the staff was very cooperative and helpful in filling out the admission form.
