IIIT UNA M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
IIT UNA M.Tech Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Admission to M.Tech. program shall be made on the basis of a valid GATE Score in “Computer Science and Information Technology”.
- Candidates should have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level.
- Candidates should have Bachelor's degree in Engineering B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT disciplines with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates having any pending backlog in the qualifying degree shall not be considered for admission.
- If the final semester result is awaited, candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale till the pre-final semester, and no existing backlog papers.
IIIT UNA M.Tech Selection Criteria
- Written Test is mandatory for admission through institute counseling.
- The change of date and time request will not be entertained.
- Admission through counseling shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 15% weightage to X percentage, 15% weightage to XII percentage, and 30% weightage to B.E./B.Tech. percentage, and 40% weightage to institute-level written tests.
- For GATE Qualified candidates, the institute's written test is exempted. However, 40% weightage of GATE marks will be considered in the preparation of the merit order.
- If a GATE-qualified candidate desires to appear in the Institute's written test, the best of the two will be considered in the preparation of the merit order.

IIIT UNA Admission Procedure
The admissions to the MTech program at IIIT UNA are based on a candidate’s combined performance in the last qualifying examinations, GATE, written entrance test, and personal interview. The institute conducts its own written entrance test for admissions to the course followed by a personal interview.
- Candidates who appear for GATE have to undergo centralized counseling conducted by CCMT.
- Shortlisted candidates will then be called for a written entrance test or personal interview via email at the institute.
- Candidates who succeed in the written entrance and personal interview round then need to deposit the required tuition fee to finally secure a seat at the institute.
- If the seats remain vacant, candidates whose names appeared on the waiting list will be offered a seat after the successful payment.
