Hostel Facilities:
Hostel's are available in 4,3,2 Beds Ac and Non AC ,Max hostels are of 4 Bed and 3 Bed and then 2 Bed, There are also 6 Bed but very low in number. 2 bed are hard to get in first year. you can change the roommates and room configuration by requesting the warden after 1-3 months in joining, (This is announced anywhere based on experience). Hostel Mess is operated by 2 private Catering and there vending machine and night mess also. The food is decent. Hostels are affordable, ofc 50K more for AC rooms. Hostel Fees structure might change a year and can be obtained on official website. there is 15K Caution Deposit also. College Recomend to stay in Campus rather than living outside.
Campus Life:
Vibrance and TechnoVIT is the cultural and Technical fest, Vibrance 2023 is quite good with pro shows having amazing guests, Sonu Nigam, Shirley Setia, MJ5 Techno VIT is not that big compared to Vellore Campus but decent. TechnoViT in in Sept and Vibrance is in Feb- Mar. Library Is world-class and has a lot of books. Opportunity lies in sports and clubs depending on how talented you are, There are more clubs than you imagine and you can open your own club also. VIT Trendz Chennai is an Instagram page with thousands of followers run totally by students. The Campus life is decent.
Hostel Facilities:
The college provides a hostel for the students. The students are allotted hostels during admissions based on the requirements. There are both AC and non-AC rooms with many options for roommates. Many hostel amenities are also provided inclusive of your hostels. The hostel fees range from around 1 lakh to 2.5 lakhs depending on your requirement. Students can also live in rented PGS or flats nearby, there are multiple PGS and rented rooms available nearby the college.
Campus Life:
VIT has a very good infrastructure considering all the colleges in India it is ranked 9th on the NIRF ranking of India. The college provides many facilities inclusive of sports, infrastructure, clubs, classrooms, libraries, and many other amenities.

The hostel facility is decent, the maintenance is given High priority although the outing time is just till 9 pm hence not good The menu is generally diverse and changes according to zo students' requests but snack is given in limited number Since I live in the hostel I don't have much information about pgs
Campus Life:
The cultural fest is vibrance which happens in the month of March and is highly recommended to even attend The classes are just decent nothing very fancy Evey class has one projector Along with the green board There are mainly two fields, one basketball court, one tennis court and one swimming pool Vit tends by students' instal page

The hostels are decently affordable, with 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed and 6-bed rooms with both AC and non-AC rooms in each type. There are three messes , namely veg, non veg and special. The food quality is good and hygiene is really taken care of.
Campus Life:
The college takes care of the recreational needs of the students. There are two fests annually - one technical fest which is called TechoVIT and a cultural fest called Vibrance. Also, there are clubs of hundreds of different types and various sports championships
Hostel Facilities:
The room is spacious with a bunker bed and one central table and 4 chairs for each student. There is 3 central washroom on each floor which consists of 10 washroom and 10 bathrooms. The meal is good you will get 4 times special food in a week. You will get sweets on alternate days. Overall the mess is good. The registration process is completely online.
Campus Life:
There are many clubs in the college and social life is quite conservative. There are two annual fests held in the college Vibrance in the month of march Techno vit in the month of October There are many books and journals available in the Central Library. There are AC labs and smart and ventilated Classrooms. There are many sports and extracurriculars. Cricket football handball badminton hockey tennis etc all are available here. In the name of extracurricular here sports activities and clubs organize events like garba night lohri etc

There are many types of rooms available according to your choice from ac to non-AC and from 2 beds to 8 beds. And the hostel facilities are good. Mess food is quite good in my opinion Registration process is available after your counselling and it's affordable for a middle-class family
Campus Life:
In vit there are a lot of clubs that are run by students. Here students also have the right to create their own clubs. As there are students who belong to different cultures we get to explore them through these clubs. The name of our annual fest is vibrance and the tech fest is TECHNOVIT. They are conducted in February and September respectively. Vit has a very decent Library which contains almost all the Books required for the students. Her classes are very clean and the teachers are highly qualified. There are projectors in every class and are used very often. Here the sports facilities are very good there are 3 main fields for students to play in and different courts are also there such as volleyball and basketball courts.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel room can be booked during the time of admission as well. It is better to book the room in prior. Acs and non Acs room both are available. Free WIFI is given. There are three types of mess- veg, non veg, special by two caterers. We can choose between them according to whichever we like.
Campus Life:
TechnoVIT is the technical fest of the college and it took place in September last year. vibrancevit is the cultural fest that took place in March this year. College has a swimming pool as well. It has basketball, badminton, and tennis court as well. The cricket ground is also there. There are many societies and clubs run by the events like GDSC, Microsoft club, etc.

Hostels are moderate at best and I won't recommend it food is okay but there are monkeys inside the hostel you are not allowed to leave without a huge process even for just an hour. There was a PG tata home but due to recent events it was closed and a rule of vit students not allowed to stay out has been imposed.
Campus Life:
There is two annual fest techno vit, vibrance each with tree day period, they are largely organized by students. VIT has a great library and all the books you need are there in the library or provided as pdf by your professors. The classrooms are moderately not air-conditioned there is a projector. There are a lot of existing clubs for dance, hacking, robotics, etc.

The annual fest here at VIT Chennai is Vibrance and the tech fest is TechnoVIT. Vibrance takes place during the February-March period and TechnoVIT during September. Books and Research Journals are available in ample amounts in the library. All the classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, comfortable benches and good lighting conditions. To be honest sports and extracurricular activities are on the weaker side. Although there is a lot of scopes if you try. There are many cultural clubs, literary associations, and social groups run by students. For example Dream Merchant, EMC, FYI, etc.

The hostel facility is average tbh here we are provided with 2, 3, 4, and 6 bedded including ac and non-ac, ac rooms quite expensive and temperatures in Chennai are too high pgs are not recommendable and coming to mess Mess is average and mess fee is also too High
Campus Life:
We have one tech fest called techno vit which is normal technically it's good and we have cultural fest called vibrance which famous in Chennai and South India this fest is lit sports are the quite good but the only problem is the crowd which results in the reduction of opportunities

"Inside perspective"
Firstly there was VITEE entrance exam, for evaluation of each students to others. Councling was done through rank wise. Anyone was eligible for the course if you have rank under 1 lakh and seat is available in that course, for the chennai and vellore campus. Application form is available at the main website of VIT. There are no reservations in terms of cast or gender.

The admission process is completely based upon the marks scored in the VITEEE entrance exam. The eligibility criteria is aquiring 60%+ marks in Physics, Chemistry or Math/Biology in respective 10+2 examinations. The application forms can be found in the VITEEE website where all communication with the college happens before enrollment into the college. The application fee is INR. 1350 (including GST) and the application dates can be found on the website. There is no reservation benefits in this college and students are given seats only based on their ranks in the entrance examination. The admission process itself was extremely smooth we just have to make sure to provide the right credentials

The admission process was an easy process, you could say it was Hassle-free. Yes, there was an entrance exam and one had to clear it the pass depends on the number of applicants but one should be within one lakh rank to choose between all the branches.
