What students say about JIS University

Likes

  • I chose management studies because I want to start my own company after obtaining an MBA.
  • Many internship projects are available; they vary from time to time. You must maintain a good relationship with the professor, Head of Department (HOD), and teachers.
  • In our Jis University, they offer good placement and the best company will also recruit for our management studies.
  • The fee is not that much, but Im studying with a Bihar credit card, so it is one of the best benefits of this college.
  • Our university has good infrastructure. In fact, it is known for its good design. There are many seminar halls and auditoriums for seminars, workshops, and cultural programs.
  • The University hostels are spacious, furnished rooms available on a twin sharing basis with attached washrooms.
  • I am not saying that it is the best college, but I must say it is one of the best colleges to learn.

Dislike

  • The room is okay, but lots of things are not present; thats why students face various problems. The meal is very bad; all meals are unappetizing. Actually, the food is very bad and cant be eaten. There are lots of rooms in the locality

Remarks:

This college admission process is very good. Here one admission exam is held. Through this process student admittees in this college. And which student's classes 10,12 and also JEE MAIN, WBJEE can admit this college? And the student's all over result in more than 70 percent can join direct to the admitted college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become an Engineer so I chose this course. There are 7 to 8 teachers for 60 students. All the faculty members are qualified and they are experienced teachers. The exam is held on time given by the board.

Remarks:

The admission process is through an eligibility Course. You can find the application form on the college website. Improvement in the admission process is not required as my opinion it is already an improved process. Overall college admission process was good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to study Engineering after my higher-secondary exam and I wanted to go for a core subject like Electrical Engineering. I sat for the West Bengal Joint Entrance exam and after getting the required rank I secured admission to my college Guru Nanak Institute of Technology. The college has a very good Electrical Engineering department with state-of-the-art labs for various important subjects like power systems, power electronics, control systems, electrical machines, digital electronics, and computer systems. The faculty was highly qualified with all the HODs being PhD and the faculty-student ratio was 1:30 at our time. Most of the faculties had previous teaching experience at premier Institutes like NIT, JU, and BITS. The teaching method was unique and innovative with practical demonstrations and attention given to each and every student. There were 8 semesters and exams took place at the end of each semester and passing the exams was moderately difficult.

Remarks:

There was a well-organized admission process for entry into the college. The eligibility of the course was passing the higher secondary exam with a minimum percentage of 65 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as compulsory subjects We had to sit for the West Bengal Joint Entrance exam after our higher secondary exam and according to our rank in this qualifying exam, we were called for the counselling process. After that, we were called for a basic Interview and document-sharing process and then we were handed over the admission letter. The application form can be found on the official website of the college. The application fee is 2000 rupees and the application date starts in the month of June and ends in July of an admission year. I want the Interview process a bit quicker and more streamlined.
