The course curriculum for the BTech CSE program at IIITDM Jabalpur is comprehensive; however, it can be considered a bit outdated.
Being a third-year student, I can say that our college is lagging a bit in terms of internships.
The gender ratio in our branch was very poor, with only 3 girls out of around 52 students.
Someday, the central mess will offer you food that you wont even want to touch!
This college is pathetic and most bogus in the country, and the government should reconsider its decision to label it as a IIIT and a Deemed university.

A Journey of student of IIITDM Jabalpur

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester (CPI > 8). The highest package (as of the year 2022) is 82 LPA, and the average package (as of the year 2022) is near about 18 LPA. I am interested in earning some work experience and then approaching higher studies.

Remarks:

The eligibility of the course was to pass your 12th board with the add-on of good performance in JEE Mains. As an OBC student, I availed the benifits of Reservation. The admission process also provides you with different rounds for getting admission.

Deserving Selection

Placement Experience:

A student is eligible for placements from the end of the 6th semester. Various companies had visited our institute. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Slice, Sprinkler, Atlassian, and Mathworks are some of the premium companies that visited our campus and chose only a few candidates satisfying their criteria and skills. Highest Package - 82 lakh by Atlassian - SDE 1 Average package - 19.4 lakhs Around 85-90% of students are placed and the rest are interested in further studies such as MBA, M.Tech, or PhD. My future plans are to appear for the gate examination and do M.tech.

Remarks:

Entrance mode is by JEE MAIN, conducted 4 times a year Admission by Jossa. Reservation is there for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates. The scholarship is also provided to them satisfying certain criteria. The present Admission process is overall good.

Why you should select IIITDMJ over any other college

Placement Experience:

IIITDMJ has a good placement record, year after year a lot more companies are coming up with very attractive offers. If I talk about recent offers big companies like Microsoft selected 40+ students for an internship opportunity and offered them a package of 48 lakhs.

Remarks:

For getting admission to pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian institute of information technology design and manufacturing Jabalpur MP, a person must appear in JEE i.e. joint entrance examination. As I recall about my admission process I appeared in jee in 2020 and scored a rank of 38000 through joint seat allocation counseling got IIITDMJ in my 4th round of counseling and after 6 rounds got mechanical engineering in IIITDMJ.
