I have opted for a BSc hons forestry because I have a passion for forestry-related topics. There are ample faculties in each department and the student ratio in my class is 50:50 as RLBCAU is a central university all faculties are completed their Ph.D. The curriculum is based on a semester basis with a semester in a year each having one midterm examination along with the final semester examination.
The admission process for BSc hons forestry is through the icar entrance examination. Students who have completed science subject such as physics, chemistry and biology during their higher secondary proggram are eligible to write the aforementioned examination. Unfortunately, the exam has been discounted and included in the CUCET examination from 2023 onwards. There is a reservation for minority classes those who are interested in agriculture courses should try for the CUCET examination.
The course is too good if you are interested in the forestry sector. As some states provide reservations for Forestry related jobs. Faculty is present for every course in both the colleges in the university. There are around 200 teachings and non-teaching staff for around 350 students
10+2 from science courses is the eligibility criteria for taking admission to this college. The national entrance exam is to be written ICAR UG which you find on the NTA website. The application generally comes in the month of April to May. Reservation is the same as for other exams. Seats left should be filled completely, Now from this year this has been started and the spot admission details will be found on the university website
