The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph. D Program is a two years Master's OR M. Phil Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field.
The basic MPhil eligibility is that a candidate must have passed the PG or equivalent examination from a recognized state/private/deemed or central university with at least 55% (45% to 50% for reserved category candidates) of the marks.
She/he must have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent Grade in the Master's.
