University of Pennsylvania acceptance rate for the Class of 2026 has risen slightly to 15.63% for early decision applicants, compared to last year's record-low of 15%. Despite a decrease in applications to the Early Decision Program, with 7,795 students applying this year compared to 7,962 last year, UPenn has offered admission to 1,218 students from the total pool of applicants. These 1,218 students will comprise roughly half of the incoming Class of 2026.

While the acceptance rate has increased slightly, it is important to note that University of Pennsylvania remains a highly selective institution. The university received a total of 56,333 applications for the Class of 2026, including both early decision and regular decision applicants. Of these, only 3,710 students were admitted, resulting in an overall acceptance rate of just 6.6%.
