US Visa Application Process

International applicants after being admitted to the University of Rochester will be provided the I-20 or DS-2019 form once their related documents (copy of the passport, financial statement) have been assessed.

At least two weeks are required for this process, so international applicants must allow some time for the process and apply accordingly.

After paying the SEVIS fee and fixing an appointment with the US consulate, students can proceed to travel to the University of Rochester with their F-1 or J-1 Visa.
