The berkeley degree do have a importance and helps you in getting jobs. Like the law firms in which i apply the became quite happy to know that i was a student of Berkeley as it is not that easy to get admission there. The placements are not headaches its easy to find jobs there but yes you must have good grades and you have to clear interviews. The University of California is one of the best universities in the world and also quite popular for its study programmes and the campus . The admission process is hard and can be confusing sometime but if you have good knowledge and have talked to any student of this college earler then you will not find any problem. Firstly you have to give the GMAT exam in which you have to score more than 720 marks out of 800 to get a seat there and then have to apply for admission online. You can apply for admission online yet you have any problem than instead of visiting any consultant you must go and talk to a alumni of the college.

They are amazing as Berkeley is highly rated especially in the research world. 90%+ of students get employed right after college.

UC Berkeley is ranked extremely highly. They have a great engineering program as well as Nuclear Engineering. The location was amazing in terms of weather as well as prospective internships in silicon valley. It also had many great programs so that I could take more classes, and as such I am minoring in Environmental Policy and Economics.

Placement:

They are good a lot of people end up going to work at big firms including Apple google Microsoft and big consulting firms they are really competitive but they do recruit from Berkeley so going here ( esp if your major is related to tech) is likely to help you get great connections and a good job. Going to school in the Bay Area also gives people a good opportunity to get into startups.

Internship:

Yes, I am currently working at a fintech start-up based in San Francisco. I am not getting paid. I just applied to startups and did interviews.

Placement:

I think it depends on your major. For CS majors it is very easy to get jobs. The big 4 consulting firms and many other ones also come to campus. Most companies are tech and from Silicon Valley. Investment banks don't really recruit from Berkeley except for engineers and data scientists

Internship:

Yes, I am interning at UMA protocol it is unpaid - I applied through Angel List.

The reason I chose this particular college is that the location of this university is Ideal and ideal programs were provided for my major, ideally, I also admired the chill atmosphere of UC Berkley and indeed am proud of my decision.

Placement:

Within the college city, there are a lot of jobs that are taken by students specifically because of their high regard. Once graduating, it is a higher probability for someone from UC Berkeley to get a job than from another college.

Internship:

No my school, UC Berkeley, does not provide any internships that you can apply to. The most they have are programs for pre-medical students but I am not sure. It does provide work-study which I will go over in a second.

I chose this particular college for many reasons. I would say that I mainly chose because I liked the weather in California and because and I felt it would be in a good state and city where I could further develop my dreams and goals.

I thought I would get the best education here because of its ranking and faculty. I also liked the variety of classes offered and the social climate. There was a good selection of different organizations I would be able to join.

Placement:

I didn't go through any placement, but job opportunities from the school are great. They have lots of tutoring opportunities as long as you have a good GPA, and the mention of UCB outside of the Bay Area carries a lot of clouts.

Internship:

Yes. I worked as an undergraduate research apprentice for academic units. There?s no option for pay but the experience is good and goes great on a resume. I appreciated the opportunity for growth in the program I chose, and the work wasn?t difficult.
