Top companies visit regularly for mid-course internship opportunities or final placements. The University regularly conducts job fairs for current and graduating students. The median salary is around 75,000 AUD/year in line with the Australian income of a post-graduate student.

Internship:

No, I didn't enroll in an internship as my program was full of on-campus research work.

Placement:

There are many online webinars where companies try to interact with students and faculty. There's a huge chance of getting employment in big ventures as an intern or a proper job, but only after a certain period. Graduates from ANU have been rated as Australia's most employable graduates and among the most sought after by employers worldwide. The latest Global Employability University Ranking, published by the Times Higher Education, rated ANU as Australia's top university for getting a job for the fourth year in a row.

Internship:

I've not yet applied, cause I'm a first year student.

Placement:

The placements jobs are pretty good, we have workshops on how to write a resume and to present ourselves in an interview also we have companies come on our campus and do networking. It is the best university in Australia with the highest % of students getting placement after uni.

Internship:

Yes, they do but I am in my first year so I can't get an internship but there is volunteering work and there is research internships with professors and maximum hours you can work is 20 if doing full-time courses

Placement:

The ANU offers plenty of internship opportunities and an on-campus job. It boasts of having its own jobs portal which is accessible through the university website which is constantly brimming with new opportunities both academic and otherwise on campus.

Internship:

The college has a very successful opportunities and placements program. Companies from all kinds of industries hire students graduating from the ANU. Through the course of the program, the ANU hosts speakers and guest lecturers from diverse backgrounds and industries which provides opportunities for students to interact and network which implicitly increases the job prospects for future graduates.

Placement:

At the moment the job opportunities in the country are very volatile for international students due to Permanent Residency issues. Apart from that, the reputation of the University is very sound and provides a better chance at Job opportunities compared to other Universities in the country.

Internship:

Yes, but I haven't opted for one. But my colleagues I heard good reviews. The internship program offers credits for few programs and had a wide range of positions available for various courses with very reputed clientele ranging from the Australian Government to the big four.

Very well know and world-renowned university, close to my home and has one of the top business schools in the country l, which is where my main area of study is. Has a great range of subject choices as well as on-campus experiences.

Internship:

Yes, both law and arts offer internships in various forms. Domestic placements do not require any financial contribution as it is covered in your university fees, which the government pays for (on loan). I did a domestic placement with a legal aid office that helps youths with legal problems, and I gained immeasurable experience and knowledge. I also did an international one, which does require some student contribution.

I chose ANU for being the too University in the country, particularly for Law and anything internationally focussed. ANU is also 1 of 2 unis in Australia to offer development studies as its own degree rather than as an art major. The location of the uni and college life also really appealed to me.

Placement:

ANU ranks 22 in the world ranking and 1st in Australia. They have tie-ups with various industries and companies across the globe. So students have plenty of opportunities to find what they want. Also, many students can take up a part-time job during studies at the campus.

Internship:

My research unit provides lots of internships. I have seen many international students here on a short project. ANU has a tie-up with many places and they have many exchange programs too. Some will have monthly payments and others will have one time pay.

Placement:

I think they are very good. We are always emailed with opportunities. I personally haven't had to go for a job yet, so don?t have any personal experience but I know that when I do there will be a lot available.

Internship:

Yes. There are a number of internships that are advised through their website. We get a weekly email with the opportunities available. The business faculty is very large but I think they cater to all areas (ie accounting and economics).

Placement:

Sufficient, the degree is quite broadly applicable. I feel as though I'll likely move into pure politics after graduating, and once developing some kind of platform then get into journalism and opinion editorial writing

Internship:

There are certain scholarships available should you wish to take on a level of responsibility in my residential college. As for academic college, there is also an array of scholarships, but they require eligibility.
