Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Minimum 2 courses at Advanced (A) level and 3 courses at Ordinary (O) level: no grades below a ‘D’ (GCE).
- Grade 12 mathematics final grade should be 65% or higher.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must meet the minimum requirements in English and maths subjects up to 60%, after receiving an admission offer.
- Students will need to submit school results for Class XI showing a competitive average and course registration for Class XII, or Class XII mid-year results.
- Students in CBSE or CISCE schools, present 75%+ on their final Class XII exams.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- IELTS – Overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0
- PTE – Minimum Score of 58 – 60

Students will be prepared for roles such as HR training coordinator, recruiter, compensation analyst, health and safety specialist, labor relations representative, benefits administrator, and HR generalist.
A day as an HR professional could involve managing employee benefits and compensation, attending job fairs looking for new talent, helping resolve interpersonal conflict, or advising in the hiring process. Students could be called on to share their knowledge of employment law, labor relations, health, and safety, or compensation as students help influence important business decisions.

I applied to Humber college specifically, it being the best in the Ontario for the TESL program, also it’s faculty and proximity to city made it the best choice for me.
