We all want a better, more sustainable world. To achieve this, our rapidly evolving world needs innovative products, processes and materials and this is at the heart of chemical engineering technology. Material science, nuclear energy, new fuels and fuel cell production, solar energy, pharmaceutical production, food preservatives and additives and green chemical products all have one thing in common – the chemical engineering technologist.Chemical engineering technology is about creating value through chemical conversions, all the way from lab-scale processes to optimizing full plant operations. This program provides training for these skills including manufacturing of high-tech polymers, water treatment operations, catalytic conversions, nuclear power and other fuel sources and the roles that chemical engineering technologists play in each area.
