I chose this university due to its stature and location. Canada provides better opportunities for jobs after graduation that other countries.
Course Curriculum :
The course syllabus was up-to-date. We were given industrial exposure through researching directly on companies and interacting with company executives.
Exams :
I took the ACT and the TOEFL exam. I scored 28/36 in the ACT and 104/120 in the TOEFL. I also required my grades and my CV that highlighted my other experiences.
Placement :
There were various companies that visited from the big 4 accounting firms to various financial institutions, Banks and FMCG companies.
Internship :
No I did not opt for a coop.
Events :
Campus infrastructure was great. WiFi was available all around campus. The university has great sports facilities and research opportunities.
Fees :
120000 CAD (approx 20000 CAD a semester)
Scholarship :
No, I did not get any scholarship.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio reduces over time. In the first year it can be 1:80. It reduces to about 1:25-30 in the final year. My strategy professor was a partner at BCG which meant he had real life experiences and could help me by mentoring me.
Hostel :
The accommodations for the first year was great. However, they were a little expensive which is why I would recommend staying off-campus.
