The internship is also found in my college and the stipend for intern students is also better that is 27,500 rs. which is much more than other colleges found in surrounding places. And the stipend may increase per year.
Internship opportunities at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences(IGIMS, Patna ) for the MBBS Course are provided in the 5th year of the course. It is very fruitful for medical students as they gain clinical experience there.
In our college, an internship is a 12-month course and it is mandatory for getting an MBBS degree. For an internship, the college gives 25000/month. And after completing the internship college provides opportunities for working in our college as junior resident doctors.
In our college, no one company is come and zero placement by company. But our college gives jobs to students who have completed their MBBS and want to join the college's hospital as a junior residents. They get around 60-70000 Rs /month. Mostly in our college, after the internship, they want a pg seat so they preparing the neet-pg entrance exam.
After our 4.5 years of studying in medical college, we get to do an internship for a period of one year. There we get a stipend. After our internship, we get the degree and now we can apply as a doctor in government or private hospitals.
NEET examination is necessary to avail admission to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna. MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, and B Pharma are the courses provided. MBBS is a nearly 4.5 years course with an internship period of 1 year to become a Doctor.
