Admission to its courses is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examinations. The Entrance examinations accepted by the college are:

Ans. Medical colleges don’t provide direct placement opportunities. But the institute will definitely help you in getting an internship in some of the top private and government hospitals. Since, the college has its own community health center, getting an internship would not be that difficult.

Ques. How to get admission to M.Sc (Nursing) course at SKIMS?

Ans. Candidates have to submit registration cum counseling forms physically at BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar along with self-attested certificates.
  • After that, they have to clear the Common Entrance Test conducted by BOPEE.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The admission will be offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Ans. The fee structure for Government based seats (Merit-based) is INR 10,000 whereas the paid seats cost around INR 3,50,000.
