Sree Siddhartha Medical College and Research Centre, Tumkur, Karnataka, Sree Siddhartha Medical College (SSMC) was founded in the year 1988 in Tumkur district, Bangalore in the state of Karnataka by Sree Siddhartha Educational Society. It is a private College offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses/Diploma courses. The PG/Diploma courses are recognized by the MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA. The College environment is conducive to learning. The College’s motto is Sabbe Loko Hitatthaya (Let all be Happy and Prosperous). There are distinct Hostel services for UG, PG and NRI students is available with each hostel having its mess serving delicious vegetarian food.
