What students say about AMC Engineering College - [AMC]

Likes

  • Information Science Engineering is the best course for me because, after CSE, ISE is in progress in the present world and it deals with software.
  • They will be guided by great mentors, and portals will be designed for their clarifications.
  • After completing my degree, I aspire to secure the best package through campus selection.
  • The placement through campus selection is good; the placement officers are very good at communicating and giving.
  • Campus life was good. The sex ratio of this college is always good. In the sports category, this college is very good. They provide all equipment for almost all the games and there are also events to participate in.
  • Our hostel has good infrastructure facilities, food facilities, and everything is okay.
  • Accredited by NAAC 8-10 University ranks every year 52 Acres of Wi-Fi campus 100% Placement track record 1000 plus online journals 1000 plus computers

Dislike

  • The course was very successful and a little tough at some stages. The worst part was faced in the 5th semester due to negligence and poor teaching criteria. Electives are like scoring bombs and are fully interesting.
  • It didnt provide any internship when we were studying there, but now my juniors told me that they will provide. However, there will be no stipend; we have to pay money for the internship and get trained. It is made compulsory because VTU has added internship as a subject.
  • This is the only part I dont like about the college. Our Placement cell is very lazy in doing their job.
  • The college does not provide any additional scholarships, bro. Only the students of Karnataka can benefit from the KCET scholarship, so they have to pay a lower amount of college fees compared to other students in the college.
  • From what I heard from my fellow classmates, the food was really bad, and most of the students preferred to eat outside the mess almost daily.
  • The college management is moderate. Some people in the management are helpful, while others have a very bad, you could say cruel, nature.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students got placement and internship opportunities. Many companies come for campus placement like TCS Wipro cognizant etc. The highest package is around 20lack from the CSE department. Average around 4lack. almost 70 percent of students got placed in CSE.

Remarks:

Eligibility in 12th 50 percent and apply for kcet exam. It's a Karnataka entrance exam for engineering addmission in this state. From kcet, I got an sc reservation from this reservation I got a 70 percentage fee concession.
