Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) was established in 2003 by the Keharnam Memorial Educational Society in the village of Bhutta, Ludhiana, Punjab.

BCET offers 4-year regular B.Tech program in four specializations to the aspirants. Candidates who have passed HSC with two compulsory subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics and any one of these optional subjects viz. Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Applicants who want to take admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course shall hold a 3-year Diploma in Engineering/ Technology.

Admission to the candidates is given on the basis of their merit in JEE Main through Punjab Technical University (PTU) counseling.

Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology runs two-year full-time MBA course in three specializations. Candidates who hold a three-year graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to apply for admission to MBA course.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the state level entrance test and counselling conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU).
