What students say about Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology - [CBIT]

Likes

  • Our college has the best placements percentage and all achieve it
  • In our college we have very good faculty to teach students
  • Clubs are one of the best I liked I am member of music and dance club..
  • The college has great faculty who is well trained and qualified
  • Best supporting faculty and good maintenance of labs and best sports facilities
  • In our college we have mineral water facility and good quality of food in canteen
  • The facility is good and every facility has minimum five years of experience.

Dislike

  • Maybe the other departments might offer internships and for MTech professionals, I think the university provides some stipends.
  • Our college provides scholarships for individuals who come from a genuinely impoverished background, but we must demonstrate our financial need.
  • The college was bad in terms of extracurricular activities, and there is no scope to explore.
  • I opted for the college hostel, which is the worst in all cases. The food infrastructure and small facilities like WiFi are not provided conveniently. I feel that all my money spent on this hostel is disappointing every time.
  • The good things about the college are the faculty and placements, whereas some of the bad remarks are the gender ratio and the inadequate hostel facilities.

Placement Experience:

In our college, 3rd-year companies come for internships and most of the people will get ppos the placements start in the 4th year 1st semester when we have a lot of companies around 150 companies will be coming to our college and also they offer good packages as well JPMC is a company that comes to our college regularly that took 30 members and also recently the Barclays which took around 40 people and also other companies like Google Amazon also be coming to our college but they select very few. The percentage of placements is 80% coming to CSE and IT department nearly all students will get placed who attend the placements drive.

Remarks:

To get admission into CBIT, There are 2 or more ways. Through convenor quota. A State entrance exam (EAMCET). Through JEE score (B category), NRI Quota etc. I got into CBIT via the convenor quota. I also got reservation benefits as I belong to OBC category. If a person scores a rank below 10k in EAMCET and whose parents are nongovernment workers then they will get 100% fee reimbursement. And the people who score above 10k but belong to the fore said Category get 35k reimbursement In all others cases we need to bear the entire fee.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are good or I could say above average. Though we can't compare them with placements in IIT's. The highest package of this year is 54 lakhs and the average package is around 6lpa

Remarks:

Admission into my college is through eamcet counseling the process is pretty simple and easy to do. The eligibility is getting marks above the given cut-off in eamcet. The branch you get depends on your rank and reservation in eamcet.
