G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College (GPREC) Admission 2024: B.Tech, M.Tech, Fees, Registration Process

GPREC offers full time B.Tech courses in various specializations. The program is offered in regular mode for 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed or are yet to appear for class XII or its equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects from a recognized board are eligible to apply.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of Diploma in Engineering are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates should have appeared for the AP EAMCET Entrance Exam.

Applications received will be scrutinized to check for eligibility, following which candidates who fulfill the criteria will be intimated about further details.

Selection Criteria

• Admission will be granted on the basis of the performance in AP EAMCET conducted by JNTUK.
• Candidates then have to register and appear for EAMCET Web Counselling.
• Admission will be offered through Web Counselling based on the rank obtained in AP EAMCET Exam

How to Apply for EAMCET?

Candidates can apply for the courses offered GPREC by following the given steps :

• Visit the official website of GPREC.
• Fill the AP EAMCET application form and upload the photograph and signature.
• Pay the required amount of application fee.
• Download and save the application form for future use.

AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada followed by counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 70% of the seats are called Category – A seats or Convener seats. The remaining 30% seats are called as Category – B seats or Management Quota Seats.

Admissions for Category –

• The seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counseling on the basis of EAMCET rank.
• Category-B seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.

Admission procedure for B.Tech (3 Year Programs for Diploma Holders)

Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 20% seats (supernumerary seats) are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into 2nd Year B.Tech directly.

• Admissions into 2nd Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by The Convener, ECET(FDH) Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET(FDH) and the rules of reservations.
• There are no B – Category(Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.

At postgraduate level, the institute offers M.Tech with various specializations in full time, regular mode for 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed B.E. / B.Tech degree in relevant discipline for admission in PG Courses with minimum of 55% ( 5% relaxation for reserved categories SC/ST)
• Candidates must have appeared in the entrance exam PGECET or GATE.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected on the basis of PGECET (Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test of Telangana state) conducted by the Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) or GATE score, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as well.

Seat Allocation Criteria

Of the sanctioned intake in a specialization, 70% seats are called A – Category Seats or Convener Quota Seats. The remaining 30% seats are called B – Category Seats or Management Quota Seats.

• Admissions for A – Category Seats are conducted by the Convener, PGECET Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in GATE/PGECET and the rules of reservations. 
• The admissions are also based on course wise eligibility rules of JNTUA, Anantapur.
• Admission to B – Category Seats are done by the college Management following the guidelines of Government of Andhra Pradesh(APSCHE). 
• The B – Category admissions done by the college are subject to ratification by APSCHE and JNTUA, Anantapur.
