As it is a government college and the entry is purely based on an "entrance Examination", the fee is very low (6500/year). and definetly you will get any of the scholarships if you availed a reservation. I availed E-Grantz, a state-provided scholarship from the government of Kerala. it was reimbursement of tuition fees and travel expenses (bus fee).
When I was studying fees was 6000 per semester + hostel fees if we are hostellers. Transportation facilities were available from hostels for 750 Rs. per semester only. Only 150 Rs. hike in between for transportation I felt during the course. No other hikes in course fees when I was studying there. All the government providing MCMA/MOMA, eGrantz etc.. scholarship facilities were there. The college will provide assistance for applying to those if needed. The college will provide job assistance via campus placement. No fees or stipend for that. But they prefer some amount if we placed in campus recruitment. Not a compulsory one. If we are ready to give, we can.
Admission is based on Kerala State Entrance Examination. You have to apply after completing 12th grade with the science stream. The application fee for entrance was 750. You can avail of reservations as per Kerala government reservation policies for educational institutions.
MKBy - MUHSIN KShould complete higher secondary education (12th) and pass KEAM (Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination) with good rank. Application forms can be filled out online from admissions.dtekerala.gov.in website. Fees I don't remember exactly. I think almost 1000 Rs and 500 for SC/ST candidates. Application dates will be usually from June to July. A few seats will be reserved for OBS and SC/ST candidates. For SC/ST fees also will be less. The admission process is good as it is occurring via online and is based on allotments. Still need improvement because, in some colleges, after all allotments are done, a few seats will be left. Then conducting spot admission.
