- I have to study all by myself to pass the exam because the faculty doesnt know anything here.
- This was the worst part of my college life. I was placed in an MNC during my 3rd year of college.
- There were no scholarships, except if you had a good rank in AIEEE, you would receive a 50% scholarship on tuition fees as long as you continued to pass the semester without having to retake any subjects.
- It is very difficult to obtain the books that are required for the course, as there is a limited availability of books, which poses a challenge for us due to the large number of students.
- I am residing in the hostel, and the condition of the hostel is very poor.
- Yes, there is a negative remark about the college that it provided fake placements in the year 2017, but it was not the fault of the college. As the media needs some news, they spread fake news and blamed Iter.

Placement Experience:
Placement drives happen in our college in placement season and 80% of students got placed last year. Popular Companies which come in our campus are - Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, Fidelity, Accenture and many more. Average package is around 7lpa.
Remarks:
You can get admission to this college in 3ways: JEE mains, SAAT exam(college organization entrance test), and OJEE(Odisha Joint Entrance Exam). There are approx. 2000-3000 seats in CSE and CSIT combined and there are other branches with 200 seats. You can find the application form on the college website( https://www.soa.ac.in/ ) & every detail you want to know about the college, its fee structure, placement, infrastructure, regulations, etc.
Placement Experience:
College claims to provide placement to each and every student who enrolled here. But we all know it's not practically possible. Every year around 85-90% of students get placed. Most of the placements happen in the CSE department. Also, students from other departs can sit in for the IT companies. The highest package offered till now is 55 lakh rupees here at ITER. Last year in 2022 11 students got placed in Microsoft from this college. There were also times when companies like Amazon just visited IIT Bhubaneswar, NIT Rourkela and ITER for placement drives. Many top companies like Amazon, Google, HighRadius, Delloite, Cognizant, Adobe, IBM Mahindra and Mahindra, Virtusa, Flipkart etc visit the campus for placement during the placement drive. The average package in ITER is around 4 lakh 50 thousand rupees, the highest being around 40 lakhs. Most of the students get placed here in mass recruiter companies like High Radius and Deloitte.
Remarks:
To get admitted into the Institute of Technical Research and Education i.e. ITER a student needs to have at least 50 percent marks in his class 12th or +2 as the case may be. He/She can get admission in this SOA Deemed to be University College by the University Entrance Exam viz SAAT or through JEE Mains result. The fee for B.Tech four years course is 940000 or 235000 per year. You can also split the money into 2 or 3 halves and pay. Mostly the admission process starts in the month of August or September. You can get the admission details on the official SOA website and can also fill out the form which is given on the website. ITER which comes under SOA Deemed to be University is one of the best Colleges in the Field of Engineering and Research in the whole of India. It was also awarded the Best University for research in the whole of Asia. I only improvement I want to see in the admission process is that parents can have the option to easily communicate with the college.
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are excellent. The number of companies that visited this year where more than 200 with most companies providing salaries for more than 8 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 95%.
Remarks:
Admission was through Jee mains you can find the admission form on college site @ Siksha O Anusandhan. The admission process was online and then in person was offline and was called and done in person. All the process was done smoothly.

From 7TH Semester we can apply for placement Company names were Amazon, Deloitte, TEKsystems, Capgemini, cognizant 70% of Students got placed. My plan after getting my degree is to go for a higher study foreign for sure

I found this application form from my friend. He told me to fill up this. The addmission process should be more online type as we are progressing to an internet world. There were no reservation benefits that were availed.
Placement Experience:
Third year Microsoft, Deloitte, and paypal all visited the college but the highest package was 16 lakh which was given by Amazon. The average package was 5LPA 80% got placed in whole My plan is for higher studies now.
Remarks:
I found this application as my friend has shared. This is one of the best ways to say something about our college. The addmission process should be more good in terms of money. Fees should be less as compared to private colleges.
Placement Experience:
You are eligible for campus placement from the third year onwards. Companies visited are Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, etc. . In 2021 12 got selected by Microsoft for 17lpa. 85% of students get selected depending on their skills and knowledge
Remarks:
There are two modes of admission. One through SAT and the other based on JEE mains percentile. Generally, you get a CSE branch on appearing through SAT provided there's a seat available. You have to secure 70% marks in 12th board exams to opt for CSE or CSIT
Placement Experience:
From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are around 30+ companies visiting and many more offers made. The highest package is 40L while the lowest is 6L. 70% of students get placement. After my degree, I will be doing an MBA
Remarks:
The admission process was very easy. I found the application form on their website and gave the exam and while getting chosen, I joined the college. What could have been better was reducing the number of students in each class and also the admission fees.

I got the opportunity from jee main. My percentile was very good in jee main but if do have to jee main exam then you can take admission through the Soa exam that was by ITER. if you have a good score in jee main or dia entrance exam you don't need any reservations

For eligibility for this course, students must give jee main SAAT exam conducted by a University. There are no application fees for admission. More development in the admission process occurred last year.

The eligibility of the course is you can join this course after the 12th Or after the diploma. The selection process is based on jee main ranking. I find the application form on the college website also you can find the application in the college administration office.
