KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) was founded by Somaiya Group in 2001. The institute offers B.E course in 4 disciplines with an intake of 300 in all the departments.
- Candidates who are seeking admission to the first year of B.Tech program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% (45% marks for the OBC and PH candidates of Maharashtra) of marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For B.E programs in KJSIEIT, admission will be granted on the basis of score of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) or JEE Main.
- For Lateral Entry program, the candidates must have a Diploma/ B.Sc. degree with at least 45% (40% in the case of reserved category) marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their merit in the respective qualifying examination and verification of documents.

KJSIEIT B.E Admission 2023
KJSIEIT gives admission to the B.E first year program through merit and performance in MH CET or JEE Main Paper 1. MH CET is a state level entrance test conducted by the Admissions Regulating Authority and State Common Entrance Test Cell.

KJSIEIT B.E (Lateral Entry) Admission 2023
KJSIET offers direct admission to Second Year of the full-time B.E program on the basis of inter-se-merit basis.
admission proceedings are performed as per the guidelines prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education and Admission Regulating Authority, Government of Maharashtra.
The candidates may submit the duly filled application form to the college office with all the required documents along with the admission processing charges of INR 1000.
