Megatronix Is Known To Organize One Of The Best Technical Fests Of Kolkata, PARIDHI The First Version Of Which Was Held On 17th And 18th March 2012. With An All Total Of 41 Events. These two were the major events that are conducted every year in the month of APRIL-JULY Huge collection of books in the library with different categories. there was a digital library also where students can access unlimited resources The space and size of the room were adequate to hold 120 students and easily well-lit and ventilated There was a cricket league which was conducted yearly to test the talent and enthusiasm of students quiz competition debate competition was conducted frequently YUVA is the official cultural club of MSIT. It is a student body of about 50 students, from all the batches and streams, which nurtures the artistic and creative side of the would-be-engineers and provide them with opportunities to bring out the best in them.
Campus Life:
Nothing here held seems like an annual fest, it happens here every month and seniors force us to come and join, nothing interesting happens here, and u will regret joining this college all over.
Hostel Facilities:
There are many off-campus hostel and PG nearby college which is affordable according to our needs there are not much single room you have to live in a minimum 3 member group they provide 3 times meals and wifi facilities are also available

Our college provides lots of books from various writers, including journals, and an e-library which is provided by IIT Kharagpur itself. And also provide gate books and previous University papers. There were many sports, coding and cultural groups like Rotaract, Seva, parade, Yuva etc Many coding events like megatronix also happen regularly. Sports tournaments like MCL, MSL, MPL, MBL, UCL, and MEL are also held in our college.

Paridhi is one of the largest fests of the college which is organized by megatronix club of the college which offers huge cash prizes for winning. The college has many facilities like Laboratory, Canteen, Library, and workshops etc. There are many clubs in college such as Megatronix, Sargam, Yuva, and Rotatax.

My life at the campus is wonderful. It has modern well-equipped laboratories, a library, a computer lab, a seminar hall, and sports facilities. All types of books are available in the library. One of the popular fests PARIDHI is a two days event platform for students to show their skills, creativity and innovation.

We have different kinds of fests in this college. We have our Technical club Megatronix which conducts one of the biggest Tech fests in Kolkata in April named Paridhi, then we have the cultural club of MSIT Yuva which conducts the fest named Advaya they also arrange for freshers named Footprint. Both these events are conducted amazingly. Then we have the Rotaract Club of MSIT. And last but not least Sargam the music club of MSIT is also an active club that conducts events on special days such as 15th August, Rabindra Jayanti, and many more. MCL which is the cricket league and MSL which is the football league is also conducted every year.

The admission process in this college was very transparent. I took my admission through the WBJEE exam. You have to just fill the WBJEE counseling choices very carefully because once it's filled and saved you cannot change that. So you need to be very careful while filling up that choice. Once you get your preferred branch in this college you will have to go to the college they will very the documents and they will start with the admission process. There are no Reservation Facilities in this college. You have to take admission only through JEE or WBJEE. You can also take admission through the Management quota.

Admission in Meghnad Saha For Btech is done through Wbjee, Jee Mains, and Management quota. I entered the college through Wbjee by scoring a rank under 12k. Every year around April Wbjee forms are released. Application fees are around 500. The overall cutoff for WBJEE is 16870 - 30063 rank.
