What students say about Pillai College of Engineering - [PCE] Navi Mumbai

Likes

  • The course syllabus is well-updated and informed to the students. Workshops and seminars are held for students of every branch. The faculty is also very good, cooperative, and helpful to students in need.
  • I have not done any internships until now because, as I am in my first year, the internship program in the college is very good. Every student is required to complete one internship during their third year in college.
  • Also, Mumbai University is one of the best universities, as per my preference in the state. So yeah.
  • Scholarships are provided by the college for needy students, and freeships are given to the best students.
  • It is the best infrastructure I have ever seen in a college; everything is well maintained from time to time.
  • Actually, I havent stayed in the hostel but some of my friends have. According to them, the infrastructure is good with separate hostels for boys and girls, and the food is also of good quality.
  • This college is accredited with an A grade and has the best infrastructure and sports programs.

Dislike

  • After coming to the corporate world, I realized that I learned nothing in Engineering due to the useless course structure.
  • Thats the worst part of college and Mumbai University. Even after getting the degree, we know nothing.
  • Whether or not you are getting a job is of least concern for the college.
  • But college may help the students if they are having any problems with paying the fees.
  • Better in computer engineering and IT engineering, but bad in mechanical engineering and worst in automotive engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

As it was my dream to work in the automobile sector that's why I choose automobile engineering. For every 10 students we have 1 faculty member, As 60 batch of students have 6 teachers through the subjects. The faculty in Pillai college of engineering holds an MTech or Ph.D. in their respective subject each semester we have 2 unit texts and a final examination with 4 weeks of unit tests held and The faculty helps us to work on our mistakes elaborating on the topics with experience and out of the texts.

Remarks:

I opted for automobile engineering at Pillai college of engineering and the process online is very much easy for the staff who attended us at Pillai college it was recommended by my sister as she was also in the same college.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester onwards the students are eligible for placement if they don't have any backlogs. lots of companies visited the campus in the past 10 years. LTTS, JARo, JIO, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, and RELIANCE are one of the top recruiters. almost 80 percent of students get placed. I am also looking for a placement.

Remarks:

The admission eligibility was quite good. The admission form is available in the waiting area. It costs 1000 rupees, with one reservation for Malyalum minorities. the admission process should be quite easy as it needs much time to submit the form.
