What students say about Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology - [SGGSIE&T]

Likes

  • I chose this course because I am good in logic and also love programming.
  • My college provides internships. Many companies come to our college to offer internships, and I think it is the best way to quickly learn about business.
  • If you take IT, EXTC, Instrumentation, or CSE, then this is one of the best colleges for placements.
  • The government of India and the government of Maharashtra scholarship scheme is available for students belonging to reservation categories. In addition to that, the alumni association provides the Sadhabhavana scholarship for brilliant students who do not belong to reservation categories.
  • It was organized just because of my friend, who told me the best message of my life: Let the people know who you are.
  • The hostel facility is not good for freshers, but seniors have the Sahyadri hostel, which is good.
  • The college is the best in terms of quality of education and faculties it provides for us. I would give it a rating of 10 out of 10 for this institute.

Dislike

  • Some of them have just graduated, and some of them are postgraduates with less experience in teaching.
  • Yes, our college provides an internship. No, I have not experienced any internships provided by the college, so I dont know the stipend amount.
  • The placements in the core domain are quite limited, and thus only a few companies have visited for placement drives, with a very limited intake as well.
  • The Sadbhavana scholarship is provided to poor people, and it is funded by the alumni of the college

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students fet placement opportunities here many companies like Adani, TCS, Wipro, etc visit here and provide a good amount of packages. The highest package this year was 52lpa and the average package is 4.5-5lpa Near about 90-95%students get placed here. I am planning to complete MTech after my B.Tech.

Remarks:

The Eligible for B.Tech courses here, first of all, we have to crack mht cet. According to the score we get branches here. For getting IT branch here i scored 93.64 percentile and get this college in the 3rd cap round. If am an obc candidate I had to pay half the fees which are 43053 and the cut-off for the reserved category is also low as compared to the reserved category. The only change which I want in the admission process is that this college should take fees semester-wise and not all fees at the same time. It is difficult for middle-class people like us to pay whole fees at the same time.

Placement Experience:

6th, 7th, and 8th-semester students are eligible for campus placement drive in my college. Adani, TCS, Honeywell and etc. Many companies are visited no.of an offer made by the company are maximum of 30 students placed in the company. The highest package is 50L/annum and the average is 5 to 6 L / Annum and the minimum is 3-4L/annum. 70% to 80% of students are getting a placement. My plan after getting the degree is I was complete my Post Graduation at another college.

Remarks:

Eligibility of this course from the MHTCET entrance exam to qualify we want 85%. I got 88%. The application form, fees, and dates we get from the college website and YouTube. Reservation benefits for SC/ST students to qualify for the exam and choose the best college. The admission process is very simple in my college so no improvement.

Placement Experience:

In the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Tata Elexi, Accenture, RSL, and many more companies visited/visited. This year till now 400 students got an offer. Last year's highest package was 52 LPA. and thill now this year is 12 LPA. average package is 3-4 LPA. More than 60% of students got placed last year. I got an offer from one company so my plan after getting my degree is to join that company.

Remarks:

One need to give MHTCET exam to get admitted to this college with at least 90 percentile (for open category). After declaration of result admission process starts. There is no other eligibility criteria rather than scoring good marks in MHTCET. application form, application fees and application dates will be conveyed to students who appeared for MHTCET exam.
