But you get a lot of assistance from colleges and alumni of both SPJIMR and partner colleges. SPJIMR tends to prefer candidates with a profile of 90+ in academics, CAT/XAT/GMAT, and extracurriculars, with keywords such as national level, work experience at renowned companies like Google or Microsoft, and alumni from top institutes like IIT, NIT, BIT, SRCC, Stephens, and so on. They look for a "spike" in one of the areas, which means that if you have good academic scores, extracurricular achievements, and work experience, you can still stand out if you have a particular talent or accomplishment in one of the areas. For example, being a state-level Ranji player can spike your extracurriculars and increase your chances of getting a call from SPJIMR. Getting a call from IIM A means getting a call from any other IIM, and the institute has admitted OBC candidates with scores as low as the 80 percentile. So, you shouldn't have any trouble if you score above 90%ile. For XLRI, you need to score 96%ile or above (at least 95%) in the XAT. SPJIMR considers both CAT and XAT scores. If you score 90+ percentile in CAT and 95+ percentile in XAT, you should get a call from them as well. In summary, if you manage to score over 90 percentile in CAT, then, as a female OBC candidate, you can almost be assured of getting into a top IIM. You don’t even need to consider institutes like XIMB or Symbiosis. However, you still need to perform well in GD/PI/WA to secure admission.

SPJIMR According to the information available, the expected cutoff for SP Jain Institute of Management for both profile-based and normal calls through CAT and XAT is not released yet. So I will base the answer on last year's cutoff XAT: 93.5 percentile CAT: 85 percentile However it’s important to note that for more certainty of admission, one must score around 93-95%ile score and a 680-690 min on GMAT. XIMB The XLRI admission cut-off is directly influenced by the difficulty level of the XAT question paper. XAT 2023 exam was held on January 8, 2023. The question paper was of moderate difficulty level, the same as last year. Given below are the section-wise XAT cut-off for XLRI admission 2023: General Engineers (BM) 95 Male 92 Female General Non Engineer (BM) 95 Male 92 Female General Engineers (HRM) 93 Male 91 Female General Non Engineers (HRM) 90 Male 88 Female XIMB CAT cutoff for the previous year was 91 percentile for Business Management and HRM cutoff hasn’t been released yet.

The roles most offered to them are Investment Banking and Operations. Apart from work experience, there are many other major factors on which placements depend. For instance, Quality of Work Experience and understanding of it Academics What have you learned in MBA Extra Curricular Confidence Overall Personality At SPJIMR, the roles are distributed quite equally despite the work experience gap.
