the library is well equipped with all books and relevant journals and publications. one of the best infrastructures in classrooms with air conditioners and projectors as well. SSCBS has the highest number of college societies in all DU and is related to finance, marketing, consulting entrepreneurship, etc. cultural societies are also there like dance society, music society, and drama society.
If I talk about societies in SSCBS they are in great numbers. Almost 45+ societies are there in SSCBS which develops the student in many ways. But getting into even one of them is tough. The campus life is slightly boring personally because it is off off-campus college which is the greatest disadvantage of being a CBSite.
I would rate the life on the campus a 6/10 because they are more focused on the academic side as compared to the cultural life of students. The annual fest of the college is CRESCENDO which shows a maximum footfall of 500 -600 students. Other college students don't know about the campus and the facilities. On the other hand, talking about the infrastructure and the amenities provided by the campus, I would rate it a 10/10 as compared to other colleges of Delhi University. The College is A-rated by NAAC for 3 consecutive years on the basis of cleanliness, student behaviour and infrastructure. The College has almost 40 societies out of which 10+ are cultural societies and the others include academics, international relations and placement cells. Sports is not a very focused department of this college but it has facilities provided like sports equipment and a football field with goalposts.
The annual fest of the college is called Crecendo which will happen in 2023, the first time after covid. The college library is well maintained with all the subject-related, fiction as well as nonfiction books. Classrooms have projectors and ACs with comfortable seats. There are a lot of societies in the college, one for everything.
The campus life isn't great and lacks the so-called DU element in it. Crescendo is the annual fest but it last took place in 2020. Classrooms are very comfortable with ACs. Extracurricular activites are missing.
The hostel facility is very okayish. The food is not good. But it does come with many pros and cons. The hostel is inside the campus itself hence it becomes easy to attend the classes every day but the food and other things take over everything.
As you all know, It's the dream college of many and was mine also therefore to get into such a college is also tough. I gave CUET Entrance test which was held for the very first time in India. It replaced DUJAT which was slightly tougher than CUET. I consider myself lucky. The eligibility process for SSCBS is simple you should have scored 60% or more in CBSE or any other equivalent boards and the CUET Exam in which English, General Test and Marhs are compulsory. I got 672 marks in CUET and got a 1300 rank or something but I had OBC Certificate and I got the offer in the first window only. Therefore, OBC Certificate played a big role in my admission. The admission process was smooth I di
KSBy - Karamjeet SinghAt our time, it was DUJAT, but now it has been merged under CUET. Eligibility is Maths in class 12 and a minimum percentage according to CUET. Reservation benefits to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS are available as per du guidelines.
sBy - shachiAt my admission time, one had to clear DU JAT with a high percentile score after passing her senior secondary schooling. The admission process was simple. You just had to score well to get admission to the DU JAT entrance exam. But now, it has been changed to the CUET entrance.
