Key changes in SIBM SNAP Cutoff 2022

SIBM SNAP Exam pattern has been changed now with reduced time limit of one hour and fewer number of 60 questions. With less maximum marks, higher percentile is awarded at a lower score to arrive at required SNAP cutoff for SIBM MBA admission 2022. Some vital changes which were introduced this time in the exam structure which have been mentioned as under: 

  • SNAP Exam duration was minimized to 1 hour from what it was 2 hours earlier
  • Candidate could appear in SNAP 2021 upto maximum of two times
  • Total questions asked in the exams were reduced to 60 from 110 earlier
  • The candidate had to decide well in advance if he/she planned to appear in SNAP once or two times.
  • The best of the performance of candidate out of the attempts he/ she has made is considered for final percentile calculation.

Step I: SNAP Test

  •  Every student seeking admission to SIBM,Pune must appear for SNAP Test, based on which the applicant is shortlisted for subsequent rounds
  •  For SNAP Test information, students are required to log on to http://www.snaptest.org and complete the registration process.
  •  Simultaneously, they register online to SIBM Pune by paying additional Rs. 1000/- plus GST.
  •  The students should retain the Admit Card of SNAP Test for further selection process at SIBM, Pune. 
  • Appearing for SNAP Test does not assure an applicant to qualify an applicant for the next step in selection process at SIBM, Pune.

Step II: Selection Process at SIBM, Pune

  •  Short-listed Applicants based on SNAP scores will be called for the selection process at SIBM, Pune. 
  • The list of sdhort listed candidates is announced through a web-link on SIBM Pune's website as per the scheduled dates. 
  • The entire selection process will be held at PUNE only.

Ques. Will I be considered for SIBM Pune even if I do not meet the minimum SNAP cut off criteria?

Ans. No. unless you secure the minimum SNAP cut off criteria, you will not be considered for SIBM Pune admission. Only the shortlisted candidates based on SNAP score are eligible for SIBM further rounds such as Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test round.
