Holy Cross College (Autonomous) is the first women’s college in Kanyakumari, established in the year 1965. The college has been re-accredited with ‘A+’ grade by NAAC and affiliated to M. S. University, Tirunelveli. HCC, Kanyakumari has a strength of more than 2500 students. The autonomous college offers 12 undergraduate, 10 postgraduate, 4 M.Phil programs and a dozen of certificate courses. Library: The college has well maintained Library with a rich collection of 52,873 books, 42 journals, 39 magazines, 77,000 e-books and 3600 e-journals. The library also has an intensive collection of rare books, journals, magazines, souvenirs, valuable manuscripts of Sahitya Academy.

Hostel: The college has provided a hostel facility. The hostellers are given spiritual animation, personality development classes and social awareness programs. The hostel has STD, Internet, TV and Audiovisual aids, Newspapers and Recreational facilities.
