Xavier Institute of Social Service - [XISS], Ranchi - Hostel Details

ISS has a 150 seater girls hostel located nearby the institute. The girls hostel has single, double, triple and four seater rooms. The fees of a four seater room is Rs. 2,900/- per month for the session 2019-20. This includes only Boarding and Lodging charges and Wi-Fi Internet charges. Food charges are separate and the food is supplied from the XISS canteen. The charges for the same are approximately Rs. 2,800/- per month. No conveyance is provided from the girls hostel as it is situated at 1 km from the Institute. Charges of triple seater, double seater and single seater rooms are proportionately higher and these rooms are allotted subject to availability.

XISS has a 120 seater boys hostel located at Bariatu, Ranchi. As the hostel is about 8 kms from the Institute premises, the institute runs a shuttle bus service in the morning and evening from the institute to the boys hostel. The hostel has mostly Triple seater rooms and a limited number of double and single seater rooms. The fees for the boys hostel (triple seater room) is Rs. 5,400/- per month for the session 2019-20. This includes only Lodging charges, Wi-Fi Internet charges and Conveyance charges. Food charges are separate and the food is supplied from the XISS canteen. The charges for the same are approximately Rs. 2,800/- per month. Charges of double seater and single seater rooms are proportionately higher and the double and single seater room allotment is subject to availability.
