RIE Ajmer: Courses, Fees, Admission, Result, Cutoff

Regional Institute of Education, affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University is a NAAC ‘A+’ accredited institute. It is a part of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), which is based in New Delhi. RIE Ajmer offers two integrated programs, viz. B.Sc-B.Ed. and BA-B.Ed including a B.Ed. program at the undergraduate level. For postgraduate studies, the college offers an M.Ed. program.

Admission to the courses is strictly based on the Entrance Examination conducted by NCERT followed by counseling. Candidates are selected based on the CEE score and merit in the last qualifying exam. 60% weightage is given to the CEE score and the remaining 40% for marks in the qualifying examination.

The institute provides seat reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates as per norms set by NCERT, New Delhi. There is 5% relaxation in marks in the qualifying exam for reserved category candidates.

RIE Ajmer has a campus of 110 acres with the hostel facility. Additional campus amenities include air conditioning, Auditorium, ATM, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Convo. Hall, Counselling, Fest, Gym etc.

Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer Scholarship

All students admitted to the Institute who belong to the Scheduled Castes/Tribes will be given a scholarship provided they do not get any other financial aid. According to the guidelines, up to 50% of the remaining students will get a merit-cum-means scholarship.

INR 800/- per month is given to the BSc.Ed, BA.Ed and MSc.Ed students from I to VIII semesters.

INR 1200/- per month is given to the MSc.Ed. and MEd. students in their IX to XII semesters.
In addition to this 20% of the remaining students will be awarded freeship as per the rules and regulations.

Admission:

The eligibility of the course is to clear the RIECEE exam. The application form normally releases around the time of April may you have to look into it from time to time. There is a reservation for SC/ST and all.

I choose this course because Regional College is famous in the field odd education and I wanted to be a teacher. That's why it became my priority. The faculty is well qualified as most of them have cleared the net and done Ph.D. The exams are held on a year yearly basis.

RIE: A milestone for teaching based field

It's basically an entrance exam-based selection process. Candidates must hai passed+2 with 50% aggregate marks. Application forms are available online one may visit the official website of ncert and can apply for a willing stream. Reservation benefits are availed at the national level.

I chose this course because it provides me with the best opportunity in the field of teaching. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:16 . Most of the faculty members write their P.Hd thesis in their respective subject. They use a demonstrative as well as a presentation methods. The examination system is basically annual and it's quite tough to crack it. In B.A+B.Ed courses use different methods to teach.

We filled out and submitted the application form in April as the application form starts coming online on the website in April and the last June fee for the application form is rs 1000 for general students and 500 rupees for other students like SC ST EWS and OBC category. Rupees 500 for reserve candidates are there in the application form. The website where we can apply for the application form is www.cee.ncert.gov.in.

I have chosen this course because in this course I am getting both the bachelor of arts degree and bachelor of education degree in a single program if I have to do these programs in external colleges then I have to spend my 5 years there but here it is getting done in 4 years I am saving my 1 year. The teachers are very good and support you the teachers-student ratio is very well maintained as we have 55 students in a single class and for a single subject we have 2 to 3 teachers. the teachers are well educated and supportive as all teachers are post-graduates and have done their research in a particular field or subject. I filled out the form in April as the form generally starts from April to May, then generally lasts till June, The application form fee is 1000 for general boys and 500 for other categories. We can find the application form online at the cee. rie website. Reservation benefits are good as reserved categories get benefits at both eligibility and fee structure.

The course curriculum is very good as we are getting taught and trained about the core subjects and the education courses. The faculty is very good and the ratio is outstanding as we have 55 students in a class and 3 teachers for a particular subject. Teachers are also well-educated and supportive. All the professors are Ph.D. honors. Teaching methods are also very nice such as students will understand the concept. As there is a yearly session are 2 internal exams and 1final external exam. Exams are not so difficult to crack if students have studied the concepts and attended class.

Honest review

We had the Common entrance exam(CEE) or we can say RIE CEE. The application form generally releases in the month of April and May and lasts for 2 months. The application form costs 1000 rs for general boys and 500 for the rest of the categories. The eligibility criteria for application is a 12th pass from a recognised institute or school with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. 12th passed within the last three years of this session. Then we have cee exam which is 160 marks containing English proficiency, teaching aptitude and reasoning. The admission procedure includes 60 percentage of the marks we got in the test and 40 per cent of the marks we got in our 12th class. We can get an Application form at cee website cee.ncert.gov.in Reservation benefits for SC/ST/ PwDs/ girls / EWS students in admission procedure and fee concession.

The course curriculum is very fascinating as we are learning all about subjects plus education. We getting taught about all the core and main subjects with all subjects we get in b.ed. I have chosen this course because here I'm getting trained for b.sc and b.Ed at the same time in the same course duration. If I was doing a b.sc and b.ed from other colleges then It would take 5 yrs of mine but here I'm getting done in 4 yrs in the same college. The faculty-student ratio is very good as our zoology class has 55 students and 3 teachers hence, it is a very good ratio same with the other courses and subjects. Faculties are well qualified as the college is govt aided hence profs. Are there for all subjects with their expertise in every subject? Teaching methods are discussed in demonstration methods. We have yearly 2 time internal exams and a final external exam with practicals. It is not very difficult to pass exams until you have studied a little.

About RIE AJMER

The admission process was pretty clear. You have to clear an entrance exam CEE. Through this examination merit list is prepared. The application form can be found online by searching NCERT CEE. Talking about the application fees, it is 1000 rs. Here cut-off highly depends upon the state since there are 2types of reservation category-wise as well as a state type.

This course provides 2 degrees in a go. Thus saving 1 year. Moreover for prospective teachers, this is a great institute as it is under the direct umbrella of NCERT. Faculty members are recruited on the basis of interviews conducted by NCERT. The difficulty level of the exam is not so high.
