Mumbai University (MU) is the oldest University which was established in 1857 and located at Mumbai, Maharashtra and one of the first three universities in India.  Several private colleges in and around Mumbai are affiliated to MU. The admission shall be based on All India Merit Rank of Mumbai University Common Management Entrance test (MUCMET) to be held on May 14th, 2020 (tentative). Mumbai University offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BPA, B.M.M, B.Lib, B.Ed, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor in Music, Bachelor in Fine Arts, B.Ed  in Mental Retardness, B.Ed in Learning Disability and Integrated BA-MA Integrated programs at Undergraduate level. Mumbai University invites application for admission to the M.Sc., M.Sc. (Integrated) and MCA Programmes in both online and offline formats. Admission to M.Sc. is based on merit. For Integrated M.Sc., admissions are granted through the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST). MAH-MCA-CET (Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test) is the basis for MCA admissions. Mumbai University offers Ph.D in the concerned subjects of research of the faculty of arts, commerce, science, law, and technology. The duration of the program is a minimum of 3 years. Mumbai University started its application process in the month of February. The last date to apply for various Ph.D course was March 18.
