The fee structure in bhu is very flexible means feasible. For the poor students it is the best. Here fees is nominal. If i go for study law in any other law college the fee is very high comparison to my college. So it is best.
Here many curriculum activities are organized by many different organization. Seminar and workshops are also organized. Time to time anual function and fresher s meet is organized. Here a big library is there for study and research. Many books, journals are available and many news papers are subscribed by them.
The fees structure is very reasonable when compared to NLUs. BHU offers so much in return of a reasonable amount to be paid as fees. The fees is nearly 60,000 Rupees and it is reasonable when compared with fees of NLUs which have a fee structure of minimum 3-4 lakhs.
The course curriculum is based on the pattern followed by National Law Universities. In the first year, there are easy subjects to learn but as one proceeds further, complexities of different Laws are taught to us. During the first two years time there are subjects like Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Legal Language, Professional Ethics and Accountability etc. In these two years, a student also learns basic laws like Constitution, IPC , Contracts, and later in 4th and 5th year, one gets accustomed to Taxation law, Corporate Law, Banking law , Environmental law, etc.
Since this is a public institution,so this is highly subsidies. So fee structure is very feasible so any person from any social class can afford it if he is meritorious.Fee for per year is approx 2500 to 3000.If you are hostler ,then it becomes a little more. Also if you take admission through paid seat, the fee structure become a little bit expensive but not so much in comparison to other institute for same course.
The whole course of LL.B.(Hons.) has been devided into 6 semestets.2 semesters each year have a different syllabus for every semester. Each subject has 2 types of marking scheme.i.e.theory of 70 marks and sessional of 30 marks. This 30 marks obtained(mid semester examination plus viva-presentation).
It's faesible for most of the Students. Fee structure is as follows: 1.Special Course fee:Rs.60,000 2.Hostel fee:Rs.3436 3.University fee:Rs.1500 Total:Rs.Rs.65,000 approx. Besides the expenditure on foods and stationary items as per the need costs another 65,000-80,000 rupees. So in total it amounts to somewhwere between Rs. Rs.1,30,000-Rs.1,60,000.
The curriculum is extremely good and is well prepared. The syllabus is well covered under five years. We get to learn almost every nuances of law in both theoretical and practical sense. Exam is held after every six months i.e. semester wise. The students must secure 8 grade as cummulative every year to pass.
Fee is quite feasible and affordable. As B.A.LL.B. is self finance course so it's fee is quite higher than other courses of BHU but still it's far less expensive than NLUs or other colleges One has to pay amount of 60000 per annum. There is no further fee taken by college.
BHU is regulated through parliamentary act, it's a central university (even BHU has its own act). Curriculum of BHU is decided by the central level committee of various proficient scholars, so assuredly it has a tremendous curriculum. Besides almost every law subjects(in 4th year and 5th year you have to choose among various subjects) it includes drafting, mooting etc in its curriculum.
It was very well updated with the syllabus of PCS(j). Almost all courses at BHU are made with an objective to be relatable to UPSC, PCS etc. In some sort, it lacks the practice aspect as almost all time professor teaches theory and don't encourage for internships, also many time they make unnecessary hurdles in recommendation letter for internships.

Reputation Of BHU, and B.A.LL.B. is an elite course here (for the batch of 60-70 students). They have almost all facilities that any National Law University should have. Faculty and its environment is good. BHU scored on university level in NIRF rankings at no. 3 in India and on overall level no. 10, the Law School scored 19th out of 20 law colleges in the same.by Student
All things are Ok but i think that Infrastructure should be better including desk & table, special bus service should be available for law students of Bhu. More seminar should be organized by facultyby Abhishek mishra
Positive Remarks- Our faculty is blessed with a huge law library and not only this, we have access to Central Library as well as Cyber Library. The greenery of BHU is very well known and the environment is therefore clean and fresh. BHU is far away from pollution. A student of the main campus in any of the faculties can get to attend different seminars and workshops on versatile fields. Negative Remarks- As such there is nothing to be said but yes, since Varanasi as a city is not much developed therefore it is not much favourable for people who want to have a taste of corporate life so the other option being that one can himself improve his CV by doing internships at metropolitan cities.by Shriya Pandey
