Indian Institute of Management and Commerce (IIMC), established in 1973, is a premier commerce college located at Hyderabad. IIMC is affiliated to Osmania University.

B.Com. (Hons) course is affiliated to Osmania University and has an intake of 120 students. B.Com. is also offered in Computers (intake – 120), Computer Applications (60) and General (intake – 60) course. Other undergraduate courses include a B.Sc. course in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science with an intake of 50 students and a B.B.A. course with an intake of 60. IIMC, Hyderabad also offers M.Com. course at PG level with an intake of 50 students.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Com. (Hons.) course must have passed in their Class 12th or any equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 40%.
Admission to M.Com. is done for candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in commerce (10+2+3 system) from a recognized board/university.

Selection of eligible candidates to both the courses is done on the basis of merit in OUCET. Candidates need to appear for the entrance exam and then undergo a web based counselling to gain provisional admission. Certificates verification and final admission is done for shortlisted candidates during the on-campus counselling.

IIMC, Hyderabad Application Process 2023

Candidates applying to B.Com. (Hons.) and M.Com. counselling need to fill the application form of OUCET online and then appear for the exam. All seats for these courses is filled through counselling and no separate form is to be filled for IIMC.
For all the other courses, candidates can download the application form from the college website and then mail the filled in application form along with all the required documents.

  • Candidates applying to all the UG courses need to download the admission form and prospectus from the IIMC website.
  • The filled in application form along with a DD of INR 400 drawn in favor of “Principal, IIMC, Hyderabad” should be then sent by post to the campus.

Reservation is provided on the basis of Osmania University guidelines. In each course, 85% of seats are reserved for the local category candidates. The reservation percentages along with their respective categories have been given below –
