What students say about Nizam College

Likes

  • Good. The course curriculum is very good. All departments maintain equipment. Coming to my department, microbiology, we have all kinds of instruments and equipment to practice well in the laboratory.
  • Yes, Nizam College provides internships for those who are from backward classes and helps them with a stipend of around 10 to 15,000, depending upon the candidates scores, which should be more than 80%.
  • As our college is one of the best colleges in Hyderabad, there are a lot of chances to get placed in a reputed company.
  • The policies and hikes to study in college are good and well, and the cost of studying depends on the selection of the course and the availability of scholarships for eligible students.
  • Every student learns everything in a keen manner. Sports is a separate era with numerous medals and prizes. NCC is a top-notch activity in this college. ABVP and SFI, among others, are groups that fight for the students requirements.
  • The facilities provided in the room include fans, cupboards, etc. The quality of the meals is good. The registration process for the hostel is done online and in person, and the student has to submit the form to the college.
  • I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges for students, located in Hyderabad.

Dislike

  • Internships are provided. Very bad experience with the internship. No practical experience gained from internship programs. This is the worst part about it.
  • Our group does not have any placements, but other groups like BA and BCom will have placements. Usually Wipro and some other MNC companies participate in the placements. We have a placement cell in the college.
  • Yes, there is a provision for scholarships. The fees are reimbursed for poor students, and an additional amount of money, usually 3000rs, is deposited into their bank account.
  • College life is very boring because there are no continuous classes, and there is no mandatory attendance for classes.
  • Generally, there is talk that this college has ragging. However, it is merely an interaction between the students. Colleges typically have organizations within the institution that can sometimes cause issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went through a BSc course because I did BIPC in inter. The faculty in nizam college were experienced staff, faculty will explain briefly about the lessons but you have to review the chapters every day to day to score well in semester exams. Everything is according to the dates given by the staff. The faculty was good, the teaching method was also excellent as they are experienced. The internals, practical's, and semesters were easy to pass if you were regular to college otherwise if you read important questions for exams also easy to pass exams.

Remarks:

The eligibility at Nizam college is 90 percent. First, you have to apply to dost then after they give specific dates in those dates you have to apply for phases. There are 3 phases and one special phase which is for changing the course as you want. The application fee is 500, and application dates are around May, and June months. A reserved caste like sc, st having 250 for dost application. The cut-off marks were 900 above which you got in inter groups.
