What students say about Seth Anandram Jaipuria College

Likes

  • The curriculum is good for empowering our knowledge, and in the exam structure, we have our honours papers written while the rest are multiple-choice questions. That is the best part about the examination.
  • I dont have much idea about internships, but I have heard from seniors that companies also give good projects and experience, and we will get to learn.
  • Every year, most students secure jobs through campus programs, based on their eligibility.
  • As of now, I have never heard about any good scholarship or loan facility offered by my college.
  • College has some good lab and sports activity areas such as a computer lab, chemistry lab, science lab, biology lab, geography lab, journalism lab, and mass communication lab. It also offers activities like basketball, NCC, and NSS to further enhance the overall experience.
  • When we study in the 2nd year, we have experienced faculty members with over 10+ years of experience.
  • A good college to study, with a good environment and faculty, is very good in the commerce department, making it the best college for commerce students.

Dislike

  • The course curriculum is good, but there are some outdated topics that should be removed and replaced with the latest ones. This will ensure that students gain updated knowledge. Outdated information is useless and a waste of time and resources.
  • I dont remember a single company, except for one called Byzus, which came to our college for placements.
  • For the poor students who cannot afford their fees, the college helps them to pay their fees, and for the scholars, there are scholarships available to continue their studies.
  • The evening batch is exclusively for boys, while the day batch is co-ed, and the morning batch is exclusively for girls.
  • Positive would be about its teaching quality and fee structure, and negative would definitely be about its infrastructure and lack of upgrading according to change compared to other colleges around the city.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that recently visited our college for campus placements are TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES. Almost 88 per cent were offered jobs. The highest package was 40000 And the average was 25000.

Remarks:

Eligibility for the course is that you have to get at least 80 per cent in the 12th board exam. The application form can be found on the college website and all information relating to college fees and application date is placed on the college website. No, I have not received any reservation benefit.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, students are eligible for the placements. Many reputed companies like HDFC, Amazon, and SBI Life approached the college. The highest package was 4 lakh per annum. The average package of placement is 2.5 - 3 lakh per annum.

Remarks:

The admission process is very simple. There is no entrance exam. You'll be able to take admission through your merit score which will be calculated according to your 12th marks. The admission process is done through an online method. Your name will be called through the merit list. Merit score was very High for the B.Com (Hons.) Course. The Average cut-off for taking admission is 85-90% in your 12th exam. Reserve categories like SC, ST, and OBC candidates can get some relaxation in the merit score. But still, it's above the 80% cut-off.
