GMERS Medical College & Hospital offers Under Graduate M.B.B.S Course for the duration of 5 years and 6 months i.e. 9 semesters and 1 year of Internship. The study period is divided into four phases – Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, Clinical, Post-examination.

GMERS Medical College & Hospital Admissions

The candidates who have completed 17 years of age on December 31, 2020 are eligible for admission.

The candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology from either Gujarat Board; or Central Board of Secondary Education, the school shall be located in the State of Gujarat; or The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations Board, New Delhi, however, the school shall be located in the State of Gujarat.

Relaxations in the qualifying examination are provided to Physically Challenged candidates and reserved categories as per Gujarat Government rules.

The candidate shall have qualified NEET examination.

The admission committee will prepare and publish the merit list according to their rules and regulations.

The merit list shall be displayed on the official website.

The selected candidates are required to appear for the admission counselling as per the prescribed date, time and venue.

How To Apply?

  • A candidate seeking admission shall apply online from the official website for the registration of his/her candidature within the time limit.
  • The candidates are required to make payment of a certain amount as the registration fees, information booklet with PIN from designated centres.
  • The candidates are required to fill the registration form accurately and the information provided must be true.
  • If the candidate has registered more than once, the registration form filled later will be considered and the former will be cancelled.
  • The candidates are required to reach out the Help Centres in case he/she wants to change or correct any information,
  • The candidate shall receive the registration receipt or confirmation either online or from designated Help Centre.
  • The receipt will have the registration number and date of application which will be used as a reference for all future correspondence, even the time of merit-list.

GMERS Medical College & Hospital Placements

GMERS Medical College provides 100% student placement in civil hospitals. The students are required to do a 1 year compulsory internship in the respected hospitals which are linked with college itself.

The students receive a stipend of minimum INR 10,000 per month which increases on a monthly basis. The faculty helps the students to prepare for the placements by providing proper training and assessment tests.

Library has several foreign & Indian journals as well as WHO publications are subscribed thus making it a very rich library in terms of referral and research resources.
