The syllabus is very impressive and worthy; most of it is from the IIT curriculum.
Many companies come to our college, and students who are eligible and perform well in interviews get selected.
The highest placement was from Amazon, offering about 12 lakhs per annum. Many students got off-campus placements in reputed companies like Ola, Ola Search, etc.
There will be a scholarship cell and placement programs for the last semester students; almost a good percentage of students get the scholarship.
For CS, IT, EEE, and ECE, the lab facilities are excellent. However, for mech and civil, you may have to go to the university for labs in the 5th and 6th semesters.
If you have three meals in the hostel itself, they will most likely ask for 5k.
My college is complete and I am happy about that. It is a great college.

Dislike

This is not mandatory in case we want to intern; the college is not granting leave either, so the college administration sucks.
Basically, there are no other extracurricular activities in which we can indulge. The only alternative is sports, which is also not supported by the college. Labs are inadequate, and students from certain branches have to go to Cochin to attend labs due to the poor facilities here.
There are many negative things, like dirty politics and bad company, but you only get involved willingly.

How's CUCEK ?

Placement Experience:

A good number of companies are visiting colleges for placement. The majority are IT companies. Many students especially students other than computer science and information technology are also getting placed in IT companies. Also, some get placed on their own core companies

Remarks:

For admission, everyone has to enrol for Cusat admission test CAT. Admission is based on CAT rank. It is an all-India level examination. Also, there are many reservation seats are available in admission.
