Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) was established on December 18, 2007, in Porompat. JNIMS is regulated by the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences Society under the supervision of Government of Manipur. JNIMS offers MBBS and job oriented training including the refresher course in multiple disciplines to the applicant of the medical and para-medical stream.
Total 100 seats are available in MBBS course in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences with the duration of 4 ½ years along with the compulsory rotating internship of 1 year. Admission to MBBS course is given on the basis of NEET merit list. It is of 3 hours duration and has one paper to attempt that has 180 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JNIMS gives admission to the candidates in the MBBS course on the basis of merit list of the CBSE NEET (UG) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The common entrance examination is conducted in the month of May.
Aspirants who have scored minimum 50% (40% in the case of reserved category) marks collectively in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have passed the English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects individually are considered qualified.
The application form is provided online only on the official website of CBSE NEET. Instructions regarding submission of application form are available on the website. Applicants can remit the application fee of INR 1400 (General/OBC) and INR 750 (SC/ST/PH) through Net banking/Credit/Debit card/UPI/or e-wallets of service providers.

Note 1: It is mandatory for all the applicants excluding applicants of J&K, Assam, and Meghalaya to give their valid AADHAAR Card details while filling up the application form.
Note 2: The Aadhar card details are verified and encountering of any discrepancy in the details will result in the cancellation of the application. NRI’s, Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s), and Person of Indian Origin (PIO’s) candidates have to give their Passport Number while filling the application form.
