  • The Manipur University admission 2020 for Post Graduate Diploma in Myanmar Studies has been started. The last date to fill the application forms is November 30, 2020.
  • The Manipur University admission 2020 for MA South East Asian Studies has been started. The candidates can still fill the application form till November 11, 2020.
  • The filling of application forms for Manipuri Hons./ Elective at Manipur University 2020 is over. The admit cards were available from October 25, 2020, and the entrance exam for Manipuri Hons./ Elective will conduct on November 2, 2020.
  • The application process for Manipur University PGDBF started on September 8, 2020. The last date to fill the application form is scheduled for October 25, 2020. Final dates for the PI and written test will be announced soon by the university.
  • JEE Main result was declared on September 11, 2020. Manipur University had opened its admission portal for B.Tech admission 2020 on October 6, 2020, and the last date to fill the application form was September 25, 2020. The date of the declaration of selected candidates and commencement of classes is yet to be notified by the university.
  • Manipur University MBBS admission is through NEET 2020. NEET 2020 was conducted on September 13, 2020, and NEET 2020 was also reconducted on October 14, 2020, for the candidates who were not able to appear for the exam due to COVID 19. NEET result 2020 is expected to be declared on October 16, 2020. The MBBS admission through NEET 2020 score is yet to be declared by the university.
  • The registration for PGDYSc (Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Science), PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, DIT (Diploma in Information Technology, BA Dance, BA Music, and BA (Hons) the Korean Language has been started. Candidates can now fill the application forms for the above courses till October 29, 2020. The entrance exam will be held on October 25, 2020. The date of the declaration of selected candidates and commencement of classes is yet to be notified by the university.
  • The registration for the Manipur University MBA 2020 has been started. Candidates can now fill the application forms for MBA till October 20, 2020. Manipur University Facilities

University is spread across 287 acres with humongous facilities, some of them are:

  • Library: University has a well-equipped library with all reading facilities and a seating capacity of 200 only. The library follows an open access system by which students can read the desired book(s) directly from the stack. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available for checking the availability of a book. The library has a conference hall with a seating capacity of 80+. All the Teachers, Research Scholars, Students, Officers, and Non-Teaching staff of the university can enroll as library users. University also has an e-library available to its members.
  • Health Center: University also has its health center inside the campus, to provide premium health care facilities to all students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The health center consists of a Chief Medical Officer, a Resident Medical Officer (PT), one Dental Surgeon (PT), one staff nurse, one pharmacist-cum-typist, and one peon. The main objective of the Health Centre is to provide healthcare to all to the extent possible.
  • Computer laboratory: University has a well-equipped computer lab for students and scholars, it also conducts short-term courses for trainees. A wide range of options is available, students and scholars can gather any academic details necessary from computer labs.
  • Hostel: University has great accommodation for both girls and boys, it provides six boys and eight girls’ hostels which can accommodate 592 boys and 564 girls. Hostel mess and other curricular activities are present as well. University also provides a hostel for faculty staff.
  • Transport: The university has 6 buses, which ply between the city and campus twice a day. Fee charges are nominal as well.
  • Other facilities: Museum, postal and banking facilities, guest house, community development cell, etc.
