Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for online admission at SME Jodhpur:

Step 1: Complete the online application form available at IIT Jodhpur and SME’s website. The application form must be completed in all respects. Any incomplete form will automatically be rejected from further consideration.

Step 2: Make a payment for the application fee of INR 1,000 for General & NC-OBC candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST/PWD. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

The selection process of SME, IIT Jodhpur involves two steps:

  • Initial Shortlisting: Applicants will be shortlisted based on the composite score. Relaxation for all categories according to the norms of the Ministry of Education, Government of India will be followed when determining the cut-offs. Composite Score will be calculated with due weights to the following points:

To encourage the competitive spirit and reward high performers among the MBA students, the school provides the following scholarships:

  • Awards: A cash award of INR 50,000 each to a maximum of 10 students of the incoming class of 2022-2024 will be given to those who have demonstrated outstanding co-curricular/extra-curricular performance as decided by the internal faculty committee of SME, IIT Jodhpur by the end of the first semester.
  • Academic Scholarships: To encourage candidates with the consistently high academic performance following scholarship schemes are being proposed:
    • Top 7 students amongst those opting for MBA Technology degree and top 3 students among those opting for MBA degree (in the order of CGPA at the end of the first year) shall receive a cash award of INR 50,000 each and a merit certificate.

Ques. What are the facilities available at the School of Management & Entrepreneurship?

Ans. The campus has state-of-the-art technical education facilities, sports facilities, transport facilities, healthcare facilities and various other facilities. The campus provides a wholesome and all-around development of the students. Some of them are as follows:

  • Dining Facilities: A three-storied fully air-conditioned modern dining building with a mess spanning 2 floors and caters to 1000 students at once. The menu is constantly revised and monitored by student representative bodies. It serves separate veg and non-veg food.
  • Health Center: A constituted medical board of doctors from Govt Medical College and AIIMS. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ayurveda University is in the vicinity of the IITJ campus.

Ques. What is the admission process for international students at the School of Management & Entrepreneurship?

Ans. The admission process for International Students is as follows:

  • Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first-class or 60% marks earned in their degree with a valid GRE/GMAT Score.
  • Final year students (of the above-mentioned program) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.

Ques. How are the hostel facilities at the School of Management & Entrepreneurship?

Ans. SME has a separate hostel room for each student. The rooms are air-conditioned and have basic furniture and an Internet connection.
