The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) offers a three years Doctor of Medicine course to its students. The course has 14 specializations. Candidates seeking admission must have a BAMS degree and they should have completed a one-year internship. The selection process is done based on the merit secured in Joint Post Graduation Entrance Examination, conducted by NIA Jaipur.

NIA Jaipur MD Eligibility 

Only the candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for the Doctor of Medicine in the National Institute of Ayurveda. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • Candidates must have a BAMS degree from a recognized institute.
  • The candidates must also pass a one-year internship.

  • The candidates for the MD course are selected based on the performance of the Joint PG Entrance Test (JPGET), which is conducted by the University. 
  • In order to get selected the candidates must get a score in the entrance examination above the cut-off marks of that year. 
  • The candidates are then shortlisted and called for the Counselling process. 
  • They must carry their original documents at the counselling process.
